BASIC CHARACTER CREATION

I have been made aware of some inconcruities in our sheet and so i trimed and made a sheet that is in standing with what we want. The one thing we don't discuss in the Creation is the Lore's - each of the characters knows more or less of the supernatural world and those Lore info points will be attributed by the Game runner. For cosistency sake, If you could take this Sheet and replace the one in your Character sheet area, it would be appreciated.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

sheet to follow Underneath your character. Transpose and delet the original erroneous one I set you up with.

BASIC CHARACTER CREATION - Lore

In reply to Bookworm (msg # 2):

Time to add Lore. We are hunters of the supernatural. so we have all looked into and experienced the unexplained

Vamp Lore - Understanding of how Vampires behave
Were Lore - Understanding of how Shifters behave - specify type of shifter
Witch Lore - Understanding of how Will Workers behave
Wraith Lore - Understanding of how Ghosts and Zombies behave
Fae Lore - Understanding of how Faeries behave

You all have 2 points to put into your character sheet as a LORE. If you have a specific to indicate like for shifters, you can put it in the Notes space o the character sheet

BASIC CHARACTER CREATION - Lore

In reply to Bookworm (msg # 3):

Just some  small Qs.

1)when I distribute the points for attribures 7/5/3 amongst physical/social mental.  Am I supposed to follow the 13/9/5 automatically to the skillset below.  In other words if choose 3 (phys) 5 (soc) and 7 (men) am I supposed to take lowest for the first column of abilities middle for the second and highest for third or there is no such constraint ?

2) If my brain doesnt deceive me (its been over 10 years since I last played a White Wolf game) there is a limit of 3 maximum for a trait that then only can be broken at the freebie point step or am I mistaken?  can you tell me which rule would apply.

Cheers
Kris

    No and yes

No the collumns do not auto follow to the one below, and yes Max 3 exept in Attributes, I am not sure how Game Runner is limiting things, but I make even tighter limitations come Freebie time.

Especially with a game in which you are given numina for free and points as bonus. But this should be fun coing out the gate with some hefty tricks.

In reply to Moises Shivers (msg # 6):

I happen to know the ruleset a little better than He. I've been STing WoD since the first books came out in '91. We are ixing some other stuff from other games that GR likes and wanted to run in there, but he asked if I'd be willing to kind of oversee the rules/make judgement calls etc. when there is a mechanic that can be applied.

Funny thing is I also started WOD around 91 but now I it must be longer than a decade since I last played it.  I only played Vampire and Werewolf at that never anything else.

BASIC CHARACTER CREATION - Lore

In reply to Moises Shivers (msg # 8):

I still got the bug and have playe them all, most other systems of games just leave me feeling like I just ate a ricecake. A lot of noise and a little mouth feel, but no taste. Wraith is hard to run and chageling can be a little hard like DA Mage, but I am a White Wolf ST System fan. through and through.

Equipment

Another question.  How are we handling equipment?  I assume most mundane kit isn't a worry.

However there's a lot of books with a lot of stats for things that need them, not all of which agree with each other.  As such what's the preference for figuring out things like weapons?
