Hi everyone!

I'I'm excited to game with you folks. While I'll be playing the resident gunslinger, I'm looking forward to the character development and story opportunities. I'm still working through the personality and history portions, but more than likely I'll reveal more background through the role play.

a good thing to work out in the saloon, we've only done a few jobs together so picking a name now - as we are officially becoming a gang/crew is apropos In Game activity. and the saloon is kindof between in game and out so it is a goood place for it. ;)

The generation process in the characters in the BASIC CHARACTER CREATION thread doesn't actually use the old Hunter: The Reckoning system as presented in the book.

Currently the characters are essentially just normal folks (albeit at the full Attribute/Ability point spend) with 2 points of Numina in one of the posted paths.

So as long as you can refresh yourself on what the various Attributes and Abilities mean, you should be fine.

I'd thought we were waiting on the rifleman/marksman.

If needed, I could easily retool Kaneenawup to filling both roles.

Have a posse name that is a setting appropriate acronym (sort of) of our curent characters, thats why..

  I christened my old Shadowrun 3rd edition  with Sojjkaf.  Its a silly thing I do…

Its impossible to get the letters to align but you get the picture

Also carving a Heath Leather Joker style smile by cutting the mouth open on vanquished foes sends a message to the supernatural community that we
a) have a sense of humour about us
b) we are fairly ruthless psychopathic mofos when it comes to getting the job done
C) having an easy signature modus operandi that goes with the name we build cred and makes the monsters fear us (well you know kinda)…

Also my characters nature is architect I get willpower checks for shit like this so I take it more serious than I should

Any character joining at this point therefore HAS to start with a G.:  Gary, Goodwyn, Gabriel Gustavo/Guillermo (Mexican Pancho Villa style revolutionary gunslinger for trope's sake ! :)   etc so we could eventually change to Joking Mob and not ruin the acronym.

Anybody with a different name  I have to kill now, I am sorry, but I need to be the voice of reason in this group, thats why you have me :)

I can see what you're going for, and I'm open minded about the idea. The name definitely leans toward a vibe I wouldn't have anticipated, but am more than opened to.

More interestingly, per Jeremiah's suggestion, it would be interesting to see how Moonshine submits this idea. I feel as though if a character can swing a name idea IC, then it would probably feel right OOC.

I agree, and would say, I am not Opposed to this per se, It would have to be really presented well, as a student of the Occult, one would know, Names have power, so just ay ol' namewont do.

I gave it a try... but coincidentally or not (apparently we have simular opinion on occult names at least in rpg) I made the whole names have power the crux of my argument
