I'm struggling a bit to answer... I sort of fell out of the headspace for the character. Do you mind if I sit on it for a couple of days and see if the inspiration comes back?

Sure thing! If you find inspiration for a different character, that's just as groovy. Continuity is far less important than you having a good time.

So wanted to ask for clarification before I post. The versions of us that got expelled from the IC chat room, are those in a new body or did they fuse with the versions of us already running around in the fiefs? I wasn't sure if there are one or two Atillas in my fief now.

So we've got 8 of 12 players, and not a lot of responses to my last update (I was going to update Wednesday, but puppeting half the crew didn't appeal.)

I created this game when I had just finished Elden Ring and started watching So I'm A Spider, So What? and I badly wanted to smash them together, haha.

I am going to close this game to create a very similar one in system and theme, but with the system transparent from the start, races non-randomized, and without the impetus to form a group that slowed things down a lot and made players with dramatically different real life schedules kinda unable to play at the same time.

You will of course be able to export your character here to there if you wish, Double Isekai style.

I will insist on the Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday / Sunday schedule we had before. I had the most fun with that.

Bummed to hear it but do what you gotta do GM. I enjoyed this game but the inconsistency in posting was definitely a frustration. So if making the game less group focused means the game can more consistently update then I'm in favor.

I'll keep an eye out for the new game. My offer is still on the table if you need help running the new game.

Hello folks, I'll be posting the new game tonight. The game won't properly start until the second week of January so that we have time for fine tuning, getting past the holidays, and answering lore questions while putting together backstories.

The new game will both support "main plot" structured play as well as player-run "side plot" guided freeform play.

I'll be adding everyone here directly the new game, whether you choose to continue as your prior character, make a new one, or just stick around to hang out is up to y'all :)

Edit: also, I did order a laptop, which I believe will greatly improve my writing comfort!
