New OOC.

I'm back from my trip! I hung out at the beach, ate a lot of sushi, bought some clothes and jewelry. I have tonmorow off too. My priority is updating the rules and character sheets before we move forward.

Players grabbed a name by Eri who are still at their first evolutions (Sarolt, Atilla, VALENCE, Domonkos) please pm me your selection from the options presented on your current sheet. Sarolt and VALENCE, you both have special pending things we've discussed and this won't affect that. The rules say things that get names while at their first evotier immediately evolve, and I gotta acknowledge that retroactively now :P

A second IC Chat ish / free area called Teufelshöhle will be added as well - the NW Daemonology tower that joins The Hall of Skye and the Ratworks that would have been Varadi's fief - and Eri will change the IC chat from a VR experience to a IRC chat experience, which should be easy to track even while timeless (unlimited posting) while having limits on how much you can say in one post (flooding an IRC is universally frowned upon).

This is all happening for IC reasons (Eri getting infected by a cognitohazard is an unacceptable risk so her fief needs to be sealed) and because I think it will be more interesting to have a just-chat-chat and ALSO a "town square" thread where there are NPCs to trade and interact with.

So that's my work cut out for me. Enjoy the new OOC!

Sorry for being awol myself. I got a little sick last week and when I went to the Dr she was like eeeeh ur not that sick. Why don't I give you the new COVID booster and flu shot? And then I was really sick for a day. :/

I feel like eating sushi at the beach would be contraindicated for a variety of reasons.

Doing some work in the basement today. Mum wants to rent it out now that I'm not living there anymore so I'm boxing all my stuff up.

I haven't lived at my parents' for multiple decades, and they still maintain it as a shrine to the boy they pretend I was. Removed all my books and art and replaced them with grade school trophies, because "the books are too hard to dust."

Remove the things that actually defined you, in favor of the things they want to define you. Classy! :P

I like the spider, but it's a meaningless image. Doesn't convey action, narrative or moral. Plus that gunk in the bottom that almost looks like text means that much of the background was stolen from photographs of folks trying to sign/copyright their work. Still learning how to turn that off.

Yeah, MidJourney can be a bit of a mess.

My favorite so far, someone prompted the AI to make a "realistic baby unicorn", and this was the result:
