Out of Character Chat
Hello folks, this is a general thread for discussing the game out of character. Please note that the structure of an Isekai narrative involves finding yourself in a confusing and strange environment that you are aware is a game, so questions about the game system should be made in character!
When you are added to the game, feel free to post your 'about you' responses from your RTJ here to help others players get an idea of what you are about as a player.
Who you were prior to bring drawn into this world is game-sensitive information, much like your hand in a poker game, so I would not recommend sharing those details within anyone you do not count as an ally!
As for me, I'm The Fool - I love the 'hard magic' worlds of modern fantasy and how Isekai light novels have been exploring what someone from our world with meta knowledge of the fantasy genre would massively impact the technology and political landscape of any standard world they were dropped into. While Theogenesis games are generally about playing as a God and ruling a people, my favorite Isekai series generally involve a low-level charnacter boostrapping themselves into that position with effort, luck, and wits anyway - so I thought it would be a good marriage!
As for Dark Souls - I've beaten every Souls title and Elden Ring, and generally favor either a Paladin build with miracles and greatswords, or a Dex build with a spear. I wear whatever outfit has the fanciest cape :)
