Posting Guidelines  / Update Schedule

Howdy! Godhunter is a survival action adventure game. As you hunt, so are you hunted. This means time is an in-game resource.

Godhunter updates at 7pm Tuesday and Thursday and at 11am Saturday and Sunday.

Threads that operate within normal time are subject to the Cycle Unbroken.

When time moves forward, the Fool will mention the Cycle continuing at the end of their update. Only post once per cycle.

Different threads will have different timescales.

ROUND: 1 MINUTE.

TURN: 10 MINUTES.

SEGMENT: 4 HOURS.

A thread subject to the Cycle Unbroken will be marked with the current timescale at the start of the subject line.

When you take an action that requires GM resolution, please underline the main sentence containing the action.

Please write in the past tense third person subjective.

If you have read this, please post below how you would like your character to be handled when you are not able to post your action before the next update :)

I would like my character to in general be helpful and curious about things. He seems to be a messenger so far and could serve in that role.

Posting Guidelines  / Update Schedule

The [Earthborn] will retreat to pursue and progress any projects he's working on, or if this is impractical or impossible, seek out new materials, knowledge, or opportunities to begin such a project. If the circumstances are dangerous or demanding, he'll focus on finding ways to even the odds for active characters whether by modifying the environment or furnishing useful equipment or magic.

If other characters have need or interest in any skills or tools or other forms of resource he's accumulated, assume he is always willing to render whatever aid he can as a favor, with the understanding such favors are likely to be called in at the next available opportunity rather than stockpiled.

If my character is with others he'll follow non-suicidal orders and go along with the group consensus.

If my character is alone he'll just meditate and enter his happy place until I post again.

Posting Guidelines  / Update Schedule

Right now, the [Lunarian] is leaning towards Light Mode based on peoples' responses in the dramatic scene happening in the attic, due to being treated as a person and appeals being made to his humanity and better nature. Assuming a few hours from now that people continue to give Light-affirming reactions his auto-mode will be as follows:

*He will use Lunar magic and powers to provide support and utility buffs to the group, while debuffing enemies.

*He is a survivalist and willing to get his hands dirty to survive, but in Light Mode he will honor friendships and alliances with loyalty and will have an "us versus them" mentality rather than "me versus the world." Basically, he will generally never intentionally harm someone from the group as long as this loyalty is reciprocated.

*He will use his [Luminosity] to not only help the group get a 1-up on their environment and opponents by making secrets obvious to them and providing vision where it would otherwise be lost, but will make it invisible to everyone else. In this way, he is hoarding secrets and opportunities but for the benefit of the group rather than purely for himself.

*He will screw with other people, but not people from the PC group or certain NPCs that gain his favor and/or pity. If he's doing something that SEEMS to be screwing over the group, it will be either because he is being forced to do so or much more likely as part of a bigger plan where he actually wants to truly help support and protect the group even if it isn't obvious at first.

The [Leise Schwertgeist], being an inanimate object, would spend time refining it's mental facilities in order to organize and coordinate properly. With that in mind, all it really can do is practice it's [Possess Weapon] skill in order to expand it's capacities and grow more powerful. She is also available to be wielded in most circumstances. should anyone need a pokey stick.

The [Unblooded Shage] seems to be the resident meat shield and has a touch of heroic brain rot. She will be happy to assist in physical utilitarian tasks as needed, such as pushing, carrying, punching, lifting, etc. to help the group progress. If a fight happens, she will lend her martial prowess and pull off stupid anime stunts. Just promise you won't use her tooo much like a free punching bag.

The [Callisti] is focused on victory for all, and failing that, her own survival. Lacking in limbs of her own, she is more than happy to use those of the willing around her to the best of their talents, as she perceives them. She demands the world's secrets and her gnawing curiosity must be sated. Despite her seemingly manipulative nature, she will always try to direct to the good of the team. Why lose a good arm or a leg if she doesn't need to?

The [Young Dwarf] is a bit of a wallflower at present, and will always be looking at problems sideways. They are a fighter at heart, but their stature makes them think of violence as a game of stacking factors that favor them.

The [Scapegoat] at the moment will be gaining his bearings and learning how to both navigate in the new form, communicate and trying to learn what is going on in the new world. After that is done, he'd work as an ally to those who befriend him (PC wise at the least), making use of his Skills to aid them as situations dictate.

When outside of anywhere that might be termed a "safe zone," [Sysling] will hide and/or sneak, and look out for trouble, warning any allies as discreetly as possible should he find anything to report.

Inside a "safe zone," [Sysling] will try to reduce any social tensions, emphasize social bonds, and generally be charming, diplomatic, and conciliatory -- often by suggesting something akin to, "why don't we all calm down and get a drink / do some yoga / take a hot tub break?"

When not in danger [Alkanite] Will engage her Inquisitive nature and look into anything that might be puzzling her nearby, no matter how small.

When in danger, [Alkanite] will retreat or (if able) cast a spell to dissuade the enemies from engaging her.
