Interlude: The Misadventures of a Moth
Moth-Ohm quickly darts out of the window, perhaps a little too quickly and precisely... though that could have just been a trick of the wind. Once free of the tower, she folds her wings and dives, plummeting downwards. Her wings unfurl as she approaches the mountainside, catching the air and guiding her along the rocky contours. She carries the speed into forward momentum, her tiny body shooting across the rooftops of the mountaintop city, though she does end up having to flap her way across the latter half. Once she crosses the walls, the little moth again begins to dive downwards, flying across the countryside at a truly impressive pace for a moth, heading for the harbour-city below.
A bit less than an hour later, and the silvery-white spec crosses the threshold of the city's walls. She continues to fly overtop, the antenna atop her head twitching to sniff out the potent pang of alcohol that would mark an alehouse, patrons gathered to mark the setting sun and the end of a day's work — as well as the approach of Calibration.
Following that scent, Ohm banks towards the harbour propper, alighting upon the roof of a building which overlooks a small square. At its center, a large cube sits in a larger rectangle, what might have once been a fountain but is now a rather severe-looking art installation.
