"You make some good points Mr Bodrov. A separate account for income other than from standard ship operations and speculative trade is a good idea. For the Adventurers fund I think instead of calling them shares I believe that each member gets a account. each time we gain a windfall we can allocate a agree upon portion to each account so that they draw upon it with having dealing with the messiness of the shadow fund.

We should also set aside an account for expenses for adventuring. We would need to borrow from the operations account until we can pay it off with our first windfall. We should also assign a amount to put into the expenses account every time we make a windfall we should take a small part of the top,say 5 to 10 percent, and apply that to the expense account for future venture supplies."

"yes", Gvoudzon sneered. "We need to set up a fund to bail out Tal each time he gets in joint after participating in a bar brawl"

Re: Aramanx

- Alright, I divided the Shadow Fund into two (the Trading Fund and the Adventuring Fund) and recalculated shares in the Trading Fund. The results you can see in the file as usual. (Pages "Operating Fund", "Trading Fund", "Adventuring Fund" and "Shares").
(Hooray, more bookkeeping...)
https://docs.google.com/spread...MQU/edit?usp=sharing

- The current status is:
Operating Fund cash: 749,440
Trading Fund cash: 652,910
Adventuring Fund cash: 837,500

- If I understand the capt'n correctly, we keep money in the Adventuring Fund until we decide to pay out dividends to the crew. So I propose to leave 100,000 in the Adventuring Fund and pay the rest to the team so that we could convert it into the shares of the Trading Fund.

An old man approaches you with a offer.

Ancestors Patron: Researcher
Players’ Information

Aramanx was settled in 388 in the cascade of settlements that resulted in the Towers Cluster. The exact sequence of settlement of the various worlds is unclear from available records but it is known that there was a leapfrog effect: settlers from the Deneb sector settled down on Junidy and Towers. In the next generation, some groups from Towers and Junidy then moved on to Nasemin. This continued settlement meant that some records were necessarily lost.

The group is approached by an aged gentleman, who has been selected by his family (extended family: about 250 people) to research the exact sequence of settlement and seek out details
of previous generations of this family. Ultimately, the information will satisfy his curiosity and may provide income for him through royalties. This genealogist is retired and relatively well-to-do. He can afford approximately Cr. 10,000 per week for a year.

Gvoudzon happened to be near the so-called freedom fighters when they issued their offer, and the Vargr's superior hearing sense allowed him to understand. He reached to the captain : "Captain, we can't seriously consider to subscribe to their offer!

One - we'll be smugglers, and that fact would not please our employers. Our reputation, as a crew and as a ship, will be in taters.

Two - I have a bad feeling about this. What if we land outside of airports, where they tell us to land, and it's a trap? They are in fact pirates and seize the ship, the cargo, the shadow fund, and all our belongings... The richer we are, the more the target.

It takes one - captain-savior - to spot another, and I've made mistakes in my youth... but now I settled down into the Path of Honesty (which is more lucrative). And I tell you: don't deviate from this path - too dangerous. Frederik could get us a fourfold profit with those 10 tons.

Danila ordered the installation of Collapsible Tanks (190 tons) in the spaceport, and bought six more Standard missiles.
- That's so much better! - he said, walking around the noticeably enlarged cargo hold. - For short flights of one parsec, we have increased the cargo hold by almost 50 tons, from 140 to 190 tons. But at the same time, if necessary, we can now cross deep space 5 parsecs long, although in such a flight the fuel will occupy most of the cargo space. Not that it is practical, but if we need it, we can. It is better to have and not to use than to need but not to have, right?

2Nerulll: How much refund will we get for the old Demountable Tank?

I don't know. Maybe start quiet and get louder the farther away we are from Pysadi. You know, I think the little guys might be trainable? A bit more time, and we might be able to put on something more dramatic video-wise. Get them to do something fancy.

Gvouzon shrugs. "Beware lest you lose the substance by grasping at the shadow. Where could we find a world as populous, with so many different laws regarding animals? Also, Frederick told me animals were 50% more expensive here. When it's a 50% bonus of a million Credits... it time to consider.

As "Chosen by the Anolas", we can pretty much place any statement in their mouths.

Besides, the money earned shall go to the adventuring funds, as the Anolas are a product of our common adventure in Itenzy. Therefore, it's a group decision...
"

Gvoudzon reached to the intercom. "Captain, would you please arbitrate a disagreement between Carver and myself? Plus, I think he's acting under influence of the critters..."

We don't need to take the Anolas into account in life support costs, do we? And how many of them are there on the ship? And who is looking after them? I mean, if Danila stepped into the Anolas' shit on his way to the bridge, he would be extremely annoyed, and the Anolas' chances of being accidently trapped in the airlock would dramatically increase.

Re: Aramanx

Andrew is willing to work with the Chief Engineer on the Anola project to better understand the critters. He also wants to find a good home for them if they causing problems for the ship and crew.

In the meantime the Captain has putting a sign near to the Anola enclosure reading 'Please do not Annoy the Anolas' a smaller sign closer pointing in the direction of the creatures is a smaller sign with smaller text and a picture of Danila that reads 'Please do not annoy the Chief Pilot'
