OCC: Just curious here. Are we somewhere that a jump could be safely completed or are we still near the spaceport and about to have an epic misjump disaster?

When Gvou could get a word in the discussion, the former corsair went straight with the "good cop" style.

OCC: 13:54, Today: Smash Glee rolled 14 using 2d6+3. Open airlock. I hope this mean Smash can open the airlock on his own. If now we can rewrite this scene.

If Jurrj is viewing the airlock camera he will notice that the door will open and Smash will walk in with hands raised. On the way to engineering he will go to the ship intercom.

"Hey guys, stay on the bridge and let me handle this. If he runs out the door do not stop him. If I made the wrong gamble it's been nice working with you. That is All"

When he gets to engineering and sees Juraj he will hold out his pistols holding the barrels toward himself he will approach within about 3 meters. He will put his weapons on the group and step out of reach of them.

Okay Juraj this is the deal. In less than a minute you are going to kill my friends as well as myself. In addition you will kill a bunch of people who just because they are at the wrong place at the wrong time, much like that poor shuttle pilot on Patinir. If you are having trust issues here we can let you leave the ship and we will not follow you. We have bigger fish to fry here. It would be shame if you left though, I believe we are on the cusp of some new opportunities and we might have a space for you."

Juraj will scramble up to the pistols, picking them up and pointing them at Smash while backing off.

I'm inclined to believe you.

I was never going to kill anyone, Mr. Glee. It's a diagnostic test sequence. When the timer goes to zero, the engine will cut off before jump initiation.

Asthe timer winds down to zero Smash will dryly co :I am certainly glad to hear that.  If we blew up you would have missed the chance to see the March Harrier and two of the sharpest tools on the Spinward Marches. If they Weren't already members of our gunnery crew they would be either running their own corsair band or entertaining the masses  with their comedy  antics. So is there anything  want me to carry out for you so we can head for your new ship?:mment

Just this. He points one of Smash's guns to a 6 bottle case of very expensive looking spirit sitting on a shelf in the cargo bay. It isn't technically mine but it's supposed to be very good. Maybe it can be a peace offering? He asks with a straight-faced humor.

Juraj looks very confused. So you aren't bounty hunters? Why were you after Bannerji then? He holsters his commandeered guns while they walk through the busy spaceport, baffled at the lack of evacuation following his Daring escape plan.

Smash will laugh "Mostly because Bannerji is a bad man. When our pilot found his wallet on Aramis and returned to him he invited the crew to dinner then promptly left the planet. This made our very suspicious. At Palnitr we found a wreaked shuttle with the pilot dying words were "Wolbutn". This put your ship of our sensor gird. While still take caring care our regular business our crew kept an eye out for Bannerji and the Wolbutn. On Aramanx we came across information linking Bannerji with smuggling and treason. Our Captain and Joonan managed to get in touch with the right people who supplied us the means to nab Bannerji and the Wolbutn."

Smash will check will check his load of valuable spirit before continuing. "Anyway the Captain and some of the others are talking to a couple of Counts. I am hoping we get some sort of bonus of this."

Smash will laugh at the 'Do gooder' description. "Well I suppose can't blame you for the sentiment. Believe me we smart enough to know that full time heroics doesn't pay the bills. How it played out is we happened to be in the right place  at the right time with the right people to stop Bannerji."

Smash looked for a good place to store the bottles. "Next time we upgrade the Harrier I think get a upgrade of the bar as well. I wouldn't mind some new tools to make some great drinks for the crew and passengers. I have to say we have a very sharp crew and we managed to spot great opportunities to turn great profit. He stores the bottles "And no one had to die to make it happen."

He goes behind the bar and grabs a bottle our of the case, cracks it open, and pours 3 glasses. He pauses for a moment.

Carver was leaning against one of the bulkheads, watching the authorities drag Bannerji and his gang away. He is dressed in loose, practical clothing; today he sported light beige cargo pants with a navy blue shirt, with a cord around his neck with a small portable computer attached.

At the mention that Juraj was afraid of the ‘fellow that threatened to blow everyone up for real’ Carver’s amber coloured eyes fell upon the speaker, a small bemused smile that felt out of place with his broad nose and a series of small bright red and blue rhombus and rectangle tattoos on his face. There is an air of authority about him, suggesting he is used to command in some form..

“Oh..! What’s this..?” Inquired a spindly fellow with long brown hair, duster coat, and combat boots as he made his way from another part of the ship. “Please tell me that’s Solovian brandy,”he said as he picked up one of the glasses and smelled its content in a practiced manner before anyone could object..

It is, yes! At least I think so. The blonde, long haired, bearded man who insisted on formal dress even when totting around a warzone poured another glass for himself. He mimics Joonan's sniffing manuver but winces briefly in disgust. A shutter goes down his average, unatheletic frame. He recovers quickly and smiles. Yes, good. Definitely brandy.

Joonan arches an eyebrow, “why the disgusted look then?” He himself hadn’t quite put the brandy’s notes into his head to formulate an opinion.
