What disgusted look? My, ehhh, foot was, um, asleep. Yes, from crawling around in the maintenence shaft. It just came back and felt odd. Nothing to be alarmed. He lied. The truth was he just hated alcohol.

Carver, having satisfied himself that everything was on the up and up, soon turned his gaze away from Smash’s and Gvoudzon’s old pal and meandered somewhere aft of the ship. Social time had never been his strong suit.

"Hey Mister fancy pants, need I remindl you that you have some fancy reception you have to attend.   will say to Joonas as he relieves him of the brandy.

So no suckling down all the brandy unless you want to be plastered before the party and wind up throwing up on some Count's shoes. While the Captain is good at pushing the paper pushers and knowing who to talk to, we need you  to charm the nobles so we can get a little extra scratch for our efforts

Re: Aramanx

Joonan sniffs as Glee takes away his drink and opts to grab the bottle instead. “Apparently they’ll let anybody on now…” he said in answer to Bickle. “And how am I supposed to charm nobles without a drink in my hand? Hmmm? Nobles drink, and they drink at every occasion, and holding your liquor is part of the game. Including identifying the notes as you savour them.” He grabs a clean glass with his empty hand and pours himself another brandy.

Re: Aramanx

Gvoudzon impersonated Alyx Karoll and the quiet competence of the steward/barman. "Hmmm... did you notice the tones, very rich, ripe and smooth with a core of acid adding superior balance."
He sniffed his glass: "very full in the mouth; smooth and round but extremely viscous at the same time!"
The gunner clicked his tongue. "Full-bodied, with fresh, silky tannins and a caressing finish..."

He emptied his glass and held it decidedly to be filled again. "This vintage year deserves another savouring!"

Andrew blinks rapidly "It feels like I been staring at my drink for days. what is exactly in that drink Joonan gave us?" Andrew will focus back on the topic "I believe we at this reception with some local nobles. We managed to discovered a conspiracy and capture Captain Bannerji for them. If we play our cards right we might be able to get a reward for our effort. I am hoping for some opportunity to improve all of situations."

He will put the glass down "I think I better stop drinking for a bit. "What do you think Mr Bickle, do you think we might get a couple of contracts, possibly including hunting down the Mammoth. If we are really lucky our noble friends could bankrolls us for adventures into the unknown, may go so far as to outfit us with a new ship. We will have to see what we can make happen."

"The voice of sage wisdom speaks"
say Andrew to Theodore

"He will turn those at the party "Thank to our combined efforts We have uncovered a threat our beloved Imperium as well as greatly aided the Houses of Ling and Oberlindes as well as their allies on this planet. I think can turn this in our favor. I expect that Mr Bodrov and Mr Marr can start the charm offense. Anyone else who has helpful suggestions please feel free to provide them. Meanwhile I better check in with the ship"

He will send a message to the ship:  >>>COMM BEGIN<<< Getting ready to seal this deal If you able to get more evidence from the records that would be great. Find out if Juraj might know any else that could help with the case against Bannerji. I am hoping that you were finally able to break the code on Gvou's family amulet. Get what you can. By the way careful with that brandy, it may be smooth but it kick sneaks up on your brain and you suddenly lose time. >>>COMM END<<<

Alyx starts thinking things through. "Obviously, we don't have any spectacular visuals to work with, since we've been good at being, for us at lease 'subtle'. We'll play up the witnesses, with plenty of high end voice changers and visual screens for those that we don't want to expose. Bannerji himself and the evidence from his ship should be the tipping point."

In reply to Count Trayler (msg # 705):

quote:
C'mon guys. Everything is in order with our Gamemaster and with the game, it is we the players who need to move forward a little more actively.

OCC Really sorry I know didn't I was holding up the game.

"Gentlemen" Will address the Count and the other VIPs "We are glad to be out service to the Imperium .This enterprise would not have been possible with dedication of my talented crew. I find myself fortunate to have a crew with talents far above your typical crew of free traders.  It has been a pleasure to be of service to such august personages and would look forward to provide our service in future projects you made need assistance on."

It has been a long time since he has had to make a positive impression with potential patrons and hoped that improve the fortunes of the March Harrier. He will take a quick glance at Alyx and Joonan to make sure they were ready to spring forth when their talents were needed.
