The Captain is currently trying to use diplomacy to help sell Mr Karoll's proposal to the nobles in the group. With the Marquis of Aramis present we might be able to sweeten the deal.

Like Joonan Andrew is also at Soc 13. While nobles both characters have away from the courts of power and have neither landed or even ceremonial titles. If we can capitalize on this opportunity that could change

Re: OOC (2)

'seems like someone is looking for punishment...
Andrew Stewart Copeland, Marquis of Something, former Arbitrator at the Court of Celepina, is addressing his peer the Marquis of Aramisat, and a Baron is interfering in the conversation, talking when he's not invited to do so, preventing the Marquis from speaking! Gvoudzon for one is impatient to watch the quick demise and fall of the impudent Baron! :D

Re: OOC (2)

The Marquis asked a question and Andrew simply answered the good noble sir by remind him the proven abilities of our team. On a personal level also wanted to politely remind the Marquis of his past dedication to justice and informing him of his recent past where he pursed the enemies of the Imperium beyond it's borders and far away from the comforts of the court.

Perhaps Gvoudzon thinks Andrew should have been more direct, such as expressing as such.

"Listen curly give us a chance and we WILL FIND YOUR ENEMY NO MATTER WHERE HE IS TEAR HIS F###### HEAD OFF AND S### DOWN HIS NECK. After which we will tidy what's left and send it to the court wrapped in a pretty package."

Hopefully his years in the scout service hasn't taken too much shine off his courtly manner.

Re: OOC (2)

Andrew Steward Copeland:
The Marquis asked a question and Andrew simply answered the good noble sir ...

Andrew answered the Marquis. Then the Baron stuck his nose in; then Andrew answered the Baron.

I know that OOC our GM has causes of worry :'(, so he mixes the NPCs (he has so many to care of! We only have one PC! - well if the GM wants to delegate, I can play the Marquis :

Marquis Leonard Bolden-Tukera of Aramis
(Ignoring Andrew Steward Copeland Sting of The Police)
"But what do my eyes see? There is a valorous Vargr amongst you! Come by me, Hero of the Expanses, and I right now knight you Baron Gvoudzon (SOC 12), Knight of the Aramis Marches!" (turning to the March Harrier crew)
"The condition for the handling of the new ship is to accept Baron Gvoudzon as your captain, second to God only aboard"

There. That was easy)

...but I'd like to beg this to Nerull : given that indeed Andrew addressed the Marquis, so may be the Marquis should reply to Andrew (and that would also reward the player's roleplay and background use) :)

Re: OOC (2)

Alyx should reply "yes" to the captain's question

Nerull should have the Marquis reply something to the Captain

Somebody should iron out the contracts between the Baron and us before "Wednesday"...

Meanwhile, shall we state that we're visiting our next ship and inspect it?

And now... could one of the participants please point me to the post where Nerull reveals what the content of the message in a bauble was? :)

2 months without posts !
Now that Nerull has spoiled the beans all over the place, :) what is the participants' opinion? Game over? Game abandon ? "No I want to go to the very end of the plot?"

Who wants to continue?
Nerull, do you want to continue, or - read above - were you confused with your roommate and victim of his own procedure, and you're still recovering? :)

I'm closing it up Gvou, I enjoyed our time together, you are an excellent player, I am a brain dead GM. My roommate is going to be starting 5 straight weeks of radiation because operating on him will kill him. I'm thinking the radiation might too. Hope to see you around. Happy gaming everyone!

Thanks for the compliments. Thanks to you for having started the game and held it up. Well that was a good two-year "try", with lots of good players, so kudos to everyone for the fantastic comedy scenes that we've had :)

I hope the best for you mighty GM. Sorry things happened  the way they did for you. Thank you for taking up the duties of shepherding for this group of wacky players.  Gvou I loved the wit and humor you brought to the game. To all the others: It was a honor and pleasure to serve with this crew. Good gaming to you all and may we meet again in other adventures.

I can keep a lookout for the metaphorical candle in if you feel so inspired down the road. If and when that happens I will look forward to working with this crew and/or anything one else who answers the call to adventure. Until then may all you find hope and happiness.

Denila Bodrov I appreciated the wisdom and organizational skills that the chief pilot and XO brought to this game.

It's been a pleasure. Thank you for running and thanks to everyone for playing an enjoyable game.

Will be thinking positive thoughts for your friend. I've lose a couple of old friends in the last half year and it's rough, both were sudden though, so I don't envy you the rollercoaster to come.
