Well, Joonan quitting is sad. Gvoudzon and him had developed common background, and relationships... that does not encourage me to establish links with D. Lyshenko... ;'(
Here's how I see rpol-ing, without having been there 20 years:
- participate in lots of games, so when one game is slow, the other are still going
- for the same reason, a game is not dead which can eternal lie - it's only asleep until some players and a DM reignite the fire...
- Don't quit a game in which you want to take part
Nerull:
No one responded to Dixon except me, he quit. We're slow, so Joonan quit. Do we trudge on?
I see what you're doing here, Nerull! ;) You'd like to sneak out of the game you started! Except as the GM, that would be seen ;)
Let me help you out keep the rhythm. Maybe the other players were too subtle with their roleplay and such. Maybe we should rephrase our statements so that you just have to answer by yes or no.
1. The PCs visit the Count and offer him that they are willing to find the Mammoth if the count sponsors them with the new hunter/trader ship. After all, we're on a Far Trader that isn't even ours, and the contract prohibits us to err in the Vargr reaches.
Does the Count answer yes, or does he say nay?
We're playing a scenario named "the Traveller Adventure". What does the scenario say? :)
