Re: OOC Chatter (1)

Tal Atvar:
Fred welcome aboard, how are you at wheeling and dealing in cases of scotch and other assorted goods for getting what you want in regards to being a broker.    What I mean is, my character is a former senior nco from the marines and is trying to get things for us to get so that we can get a cargo possibly.    I already have the three cases of good scotch and I willing to give our broker 10KCr. in order to get supplies like this in order to further this cause, the Captain knows about it as well as the GM.   You could talk to them if I'm not articulating enough.

Thank you, Tal (may I call you Tal?). I'd say Fred is pretty smooth at this sort of exchange. He is very agreeable with this deal and seems to enjoy these encounters.

That's what I'm unclear about. I think 3? Far Trader came up 3 times and the program says 75% Free Trader. I think that means 3 ship shares? Not sure how that is calculated.

That's three ship shares or 6. I got 2 shares or a ship as muster out for one before.

Re: OOC Chatter (1)

By default, those results don't turn into ship shares. They give an extra pension (investment income) equivalent to 25 shares: 25,000/year for each one rolled, so 75,000 cr/year for that character. They can't be traded in for actual shares, cash, or anything else though.

If you really, really want to do it, the Drinax campaign allows converting those results into 1d6 shares - also not redeemable as cash, but can be put toward whatever ship the group is using. That would require Nerull's okay to do here though since it's a campaign-specific rule.

Re: OOC Chatter (1)

Thanks Khue, I'll allow it to be turned into 1d6 shares. Exchange one for 25,000Cr/yr for a pension and 2d6 ships shares. Or am I in error Khue?

Re: OOC Chatter (1)

Erm, you normally get 25,000/year for one.

Drinax lets you drop one to get 1d6 shares.

Making it 25,000 AND 2d6 shares would be much more than you normally get. ;)

Exchanging all three would simply be 3d6 shares.

Yeah, you can call me Tal.   Already for you to take my 10k because I've took the accounting on my  character sheet into account.

I'm using the new. It is much better on mobile and once I got used to it, I like the navigation better overall.

If anyone is planning to go out and scrounge the site, and can avoid getting into legal trouble in the process, make sure you have a hostile environment vacc suit. A standard one isn't going to last for very long in a corrosive atmosphere!

Not unless the rest agrees. But I was wondering if it was a time skip given the fast conclusions of the formal inquiry.

No they were on the ball, it's not like they were investigating 10 accidents, it was the first accident in more than a decade. Not that much traffic here, a few dozen ships a month.

Re: OOC Chatter (1)

Alyx will be in the high pretty either trying to get a meeting with Chan or having gotten one (depending on how that goes). If he hasn't arranged it by meeting time, he'll take a break from trying to go to there meeting, same is he's done. If the only time he can meet with her conflicts with the meeting, he'll send word to Andrew and miss the meeting.
