Hello all. I will be playing the playtest magus despite its issues, and will also be gently stress testing the free archetype rule with the blessing of GM.

The question hanging over the head of that rule is how Ancient Elf heritage messes with that. Is a character with two archetypes at level one really OP? We shall see. That said, be aware that if it is, I might lose some minor abilities. Not aiming to break the game and ruin it for everyone else naturally. Just going for this combo with no particular aim to max it out. Just to see how powerful it is baseline.

Though the test might be skewed given how troubled the design of the Magus is (Striking Spell being mathematically a bit iffy). Being a mildly underpowered base class might of course make the combo less overpowered.

Heyo! Scoot the goblin cleric here. Still pondering what to use my free archetype for. Champion for the armor is great with cloistered cleric for a mix of both types of cleric, but I'm a DEX race so I might have other options. Also tempted to Bard.

Ah, welcome to you both. I guess the GM went ahead and grabbed two groups worth of folks like he was saying he might. Good times. Helps combat sudden departures derailing things.

Welcome new people! This is shaping up to be quite a versatile crowd.

I wonder if we can actually have two parties adventuring simultaneously in the same story. Might be pretty interesting if we don't have the drop off.

I find it funny that some people honestly believed Trump's bull that losing Pennsylvania when he had a 400k lead at 80% count is suspicious.

I mean just objectively that 20% was mostly mail-in votes (which Trump convinced his base to not do), in heavily Democrat areas, forced to be counted last by the Republican legislators in the state, and most importantly: nearly triple the lead he had when he made that claim and had that lead.

I mean seriously. What about that screams "weird that Biden closed the lead"? It's not weird that a 400k lead could close in a 20% remaining count when that 20% is millions of votes.

Let it be said that unless everyone is okay with it I would rather politics not be talked about here. I don't want to risk someone feeling ostracized.

That aside I will update plot before tomorrow evening. Been swamped at work due to coworkers evaporating as usual for the holidays.

Yikes. Sorry I asked. I was just trying to chit chat while we waited. Not trying to rush anyone or start a political debate/discussion.

But if I were to get political, I'd say we need better protection for Teddy Bear rights and we need free rainbow sprinkles and unicorn for everyone.
