Chapter 1: Frankie Says Relax

A distressed woman came into the tavern, her body and clothing looking like She had been in a fight or some kind of struggle. The Bartender himself spoke up to talk to the woman.

"Miriam, the Hell happened to you?"

"It was Frankie's Boys causing trouble again. Roughed me up and stole me Apples, they did."

"What a bunch of Thugs. Someone ought to do something about those Rats..."

Chapter 1: Frankie Says Relax

Moondale looked at the others.  Now I know I am a character in my own story.
The elf gets up and moves over to Miriam.  He is still hiden in his long cloak so his face cannot be seen.
Miriam, dear lady.  How many apples did you have and how much where they worth.
OOC:
Their is a chance that Miriam or the Bartender many remember Moondale voice and manor (if she works for the inn).  As Moondale would have visited the place and performed many times.
17:50, Today: Moondale rolled 13 using 1d20+5.  Knowledge: Local - Frankie's Boys.

Quaffing down his drink, Terias frowned. "It is not how many apples were taken or how much they are worth, the problem is they have disrupted the harmony of the town and need to be reprimanded for their behavior." he said, cracking his knuckles.  "If they refuse to atone for their action, then they will need to answer to the local authorities."

Chapter 1: Frankie Says Relax

Moondale turns to Terias.
I am sure the local authorities would be most happy for you to turn over the Frankie's Boys to them.  It will mean they will get an even bigger bribe from the boys than they got last month.  And the boys will come looking for you to get their money back.
He then turns back to Miriam.  Also you clearly have not tasted Miriam apple pie and custered.  This is one of the main reasons I had to return here.

OOC:
Subject to GM agreeing with the bribes and Miriam making apple pies.

Chapter 1: Frankie Says Relax

Sonata put her book away, and said, "Frankie's Boys seem like quite the problem, I suppose the riddle of the music will have to wait for a bit. Come along Harold." the large caterpillar scurried over, and she scooped him up off the floor.

Chapter 1: Frankie Says Relax

Ringo grabbed his pack and slung it over his shoulder, his tankard still in his other hand. He nodded to Terias and Miss Sonata as he followed Moondale over to where Miriam stood. "Worth of apples and bribes be damned. Look at her, I don't really care about pies." There was no grin to his face or hostility in  his voice as he spoke. It was just matter of fact. Looking down at the battered woman Ringo handed her his tankard of ale. "Here Miss Miriam looks like you could use a drink or two. After you catch your breath maybe you can tell me where these boys can be found. I suddenly have a hunger for an apple" Finally Ringo grinned.

Chapter 1: Frankie Says Relax

Moondale recalls hearing about a gang of local troublemakers and a "Frankie". From what he knows, Frankie is a Rat-Folk and so are the members of the gang he leads. The group, known lovingly as the "Rat Pack", usually just committed minor crimes and mischief, but lately have been escalating their criminal activity.

Miriam replied as She was looking a bit more calm.

"Oh, I don't want to be a bother. What's lost is lost, but I suppose if I do get any of me apples back, I could bake a pie or two..."
