Taking the cards from the helmeted lady, Flicker says, "Flicker," before vanishing and appearing next to Ava with the cards beneath his hand atop the handlebars of her scooter. "Cards for everyone," he says, before vanishing again, leaving the cards.
He appears leaning on the van, again, but on the side opposite the one he left. He says, only, "can't you tell?"

With a barely suppressed chuckle she replies, “Oh, okay. Personally, I would have called you Blink given the way you blink in and out. But I've probably played too much D&D.” She paused and turned to face him asking, “So after you left and delivered my business cards did you also have a chance to give Majestic Ocean the message I gave you? Or did you come back too soon?” She hesitated before adding, “With respect, would you like for me to repeat the message or am I going to have to handle it myself?”

"Ohh kay. I think someone called me 'Blinky', once. Ummm, don't worry, I'll deliver your message. Just try to get a look at the perp; it's probably not Riley, my friend would've said something about transformations, but I've got a hunch this guy wasn't a supervillain this morning."
"Later."
Flicker blips away, to make sure the business cards are distributed with the message about calling in a half hour or so for the location. He also manages to stammer through explaining to Ava that the 'helmeted biker chick' suggested she couldn't afford to feed her. His embarrassment at having to approach the topic is very evident.

Charge remained stoic as she looked at the business card. "...alright."

 Redacted just shakes his head at the hero calling himself Flicker. "And they scatter. Argh how am I gonna explain this to Walter this time." he laments. "One of those times I wish it wasn't just forget me. Life would have been so much easier if it wasn't limited like that."

When Ava hands Sharpshooter the card, he starts to ask "this isn't your number, is it? You call yourself Majestic Ocean? That's a right pretty name, kid. I'm Sharpshooter. PRIMUS thanks you for the help today." Turning to the other heroes, he says "any of you who don't want your names appearing in the PRIMUS after-action report, git along. I'll talk to the rest of you and handle your debriefing."

To Flicker, regarding the Feed Her comment:

"Um, yeah.  Funny.  Like I haven't heard THAT before.  Don't mind her, she's a little 'batty' like that, sometimes her rope doesn't reach all the way to her belfry...  plus we have a history going back to high school..."

To Sharpshooter:

"No, it's not MY phone number.  Trust me, you are not my type.  They belong to the girl on the bike..."

The reporter is joined by other reporters.  Amok is hauled away by PRIMUS and the ambulance races off filled with the most critical patients.

The reporter noticed the group seems ready to leave and he wants more.    i heard the names Majestic Ocean,  Flicker, and Sharpshooter.   Who are the rest of you?

I didn't notice Redacted,  Charge. Or Nightshade give their names.

  "I've been Redacted Tom so take that as you will." he says as he starts back up the street to check on his car and the civilians.

What we want to know is, when you were chasing down that, uhhh, bad guy after the Frenchman Flats debacle, were you working for J. Edgar or was that freelance? While the reporters are distracted, Tarina takes a closer look at Amok and takes a picture from inside her helmet. After Ava mentions the woman on the bike, Tarina climbs back aboard her motorcycle and turns it on. Addressing the reporter she says, "I'm not one of the Watch, I'm just an ordinary average everyday... citizen looking out for my fellow citizens. Now that The Watch has it all under control. I've got to go. See ya!" Throttling up her engine, she waves before speeding off.

While leaving the scene, Tarina starts using the hands-free cellular device inside the helmet to make arrangements for the later meeting with the others.

Nightshade speeds off.  Flicker would recognize her but not the other way around.

Nightshade would recognize Ava but not the other way around.

Charge would recognize MO from the restaurant but not the other way around. Unless a rep roll is done

Everyone should recognize Sharpshooter but no one should recognize Redacted (he makes people forget)

The reporter makes sure the camera is aimed at the group.  (To Ava)   Are you not the woman that Cindy Cartell targeted.   (To Sharpshooter) Did you let Photon get away?  (To anyone) Do you have a base yet and what are you going to do to capture the 28 escaped super villains from stronghold?

"Why would you think that?"  Ava asks, putting him on the spot to make a crack about her looks.



"Photon got away from you?!  Sounds like you need to join another team, like the..."  Dramatic Pause and Arms Akimbo "...Cul De Sac Crusaders!"

(Yes, she's messing with him, his old man pride is a sore spot with him...)

 

"No, we don't have a base yet, you did just hear someone say we just met, right?  Though we may take applications from any heroes who are secretly Billionaire Playboys.  What do you think?  Go Fund Me?"

Charge was getting ready to answer the Cindy Cartell question, but that would run the risk of giving away who she was she she would keep her mouth shut for now.

Instead, she went this route. "Stop using that name. We are not even a team, and if we do become one, we will not use that name. Ever." Came her stoic tone.

She crosses her arms, one of her hands moving to her forehead as MO continues to speak. "And on that note, there are more important things to do." She's pulls out a couple CD's, spins them on her fingers until they have built up a charge then tosses them down on the ground next to one another. Stepping on them, they suddenly begin gliding a few inches from the ground.

"Flicker was it?" She asked, as she looked at the card he gave out. "See you around. Tell your friend I'll call her."

Sharpshooter groans and covers his eyes, wishing for a bottle of extra-strength Excedrin and a quart of Jack Daniels. He puts some chewing tobacco in his mouth and chaws a bit, calming down. He spits to the side and says "Kid, if that's the best you can come up with, I hear the Inferior Five is recruiting. Photon got away because I refrained from Lethal Force in a crowded mall. I may be a bit out of practice, but you'll find this old man still has an ace or two tucked into his vest. I'll get another shot at Photon, soon enough."

The reporter isn't deterred from his questions.
The cameras follow Charge as she flies away.

(to Ava) You just match her description. 

Just then a huge cloud of black smoke is seen rising from the north. It's probably a fire and probably started when Amok attacked.

Note:  Amok left his booze bottle behind.

You hear fire truck sounds going north. The smoke is about 5 miles away.  As you look north, you will see a billboard saying "What would Foxbat do?   Contact CC @ Manateen(dot)com"

 "Well this is a fine day." he jogs for his car. Gets in throws the berry on top. Backs up and stops at the corner. "Whoever is going better get in." he gives them a moment before heading off towards the plume even if he has to go by himself.

With a smile in his voice, Flicker says to the reporter, "duty calls."
Then he vanishes, to appear seated in the back seat of Redacted's car. In as chipper a voice as anyone dare use, he says, "my mentor was right, this is just the diversion I needed to forget the sucking black hole of despair in the center of my life."

"...son of a bitch." As she started to go of she noticed the smoke in the distance and started towards it. Crouching down, those CD's she was standing on suddening carried her off at just over 120 miles per hour.

[OOC: I just did the math. Her NCM is a hair over 120 MPH. :) So good luck on those camera's keeping up. lol]

Sharpshooter jumps atop Redacted's vehicle and launches himself forward, his cycling grapple attachments pulling him forward at an astounding rate.

A distance away from the collected group of superheroes, Tarina receives reports of a cloud of smoke in the area nearby. Seeing the cloud for herself she immediately heads towards the scene, driving as fast as reasonably possible on the shoulders and bike lanes to avoid the slowdown in traffic.
I hope no one is seriously injured, she thought.
