Ocean made her per roll making her Ocv 1/2 instead of 0, but missed.

Nightshade stuns Ankylosaur but I have no clue if he hit Armadillo.

14:06, Today: Ankylosaur rolled 35 (with 11 body) using 11 with the Hero (Champions) system with rolls of 3, 2, 1, 2, 6, 6, 3, 2, 5, 4, 1.  Knock back damage

Ankylosaur is stunned.

Now,anyone know how to determine if Ankylosaur hit Amardillo

Re: Talking Sense.

Basically, you make a ranged attack using Anky. You have a 0 OCV vs Army's half-DCV (Due to smokescreen), and Nightshade can apply levels if she has them.

OOC
Just to be sure, I looked it up in the both the Combat Handbook and Champions, both 5th Edition rules.

quote:
Sometimes a character wants to aim his attack so that the Knockback propels
the target into a third character, thus causing both foes to suffer Knockback damage.
If so, the character must make an Attack Roll using only his base OCV (as calculated from DEX,
without CSLs, maneuver bonuses, or the like) against the second target’s DCV. If that roll
succeeds, the first target hits the second target, and they both take 1d6 damage per 1” of Knockback.

So it seems that Nightshade would need to make a to hit roll with 8 OCV against Armadillo's current DCV.

Nightshade rolled 11 using 3d6. This hits a DCV 8.

The knock back damage isn't enough to hurt Armadillo.  At the end of phase 6, he uses his phase to tunnel... But where?

Ankylosaur is alone.  And stunned.  Phase 7 and 8

Seeing no one else around, Flicker helps the trussed-up McGavin to his feet. "Not to worry, sir," he says, "I'll have you free and safe in no time, literally."
Letting the time flow return to normal everywhere else, Flicker watches the world stop. Pieces of gravel churned up by the tunneling Armadillo hang in mid-air as Flicker calmly pulls Mr. McGavin along down the block and into a doorway.
Releasing his hold on the temporal flow, Flicker makes sure things are moving normally before he lets go of the civilian. Before heading back to the fray, Flicker admonishes Mr. Mcgavin, "if you could clear the area, please. This is a dangerous place to be."

Phase 8

"Please don't let that guy escape, Flicker. He's a suspect in an ongoing investigation, as well as a possible supervillain responsible for at least one murder!" she says, pointing to McGavin.

Nightshade's chestnut brown hair sways beneath and around her twitching ears. Her almost solid black eyes regard Ankylosaur before she seizes him.

OOC
Nightshade rolled 9 using 3d6. She hits a DCV 8 with a Grab.

Grabbing the staggered armored villain, she binds him with his tail and bounces his head off of the street.

Nightshade rolled 39 (with 12 body) using 10 with the Hero (Champions) system.

Re: Talking Sense.

Sharpshooter listens for Armadillo, but cannot get a locus on his position. He turns his attention to Ankylosaur, firing a rubber bullet at the armored man.

15:17, Today: Sharpshooter rolled 15 (with 5 body) using 3 with the Hero (Champions) system with rolls of 3, 6, 6.  Perception 14-.

15:19, Today: Sharpshooter rolled 6 (with 1 body) using 3 with the Hero (Champions) system with rolls of 1, 4, 1.  Rubber Bullet attack, OCV 10 DCV 9.

15:19, Today: Sharpshooter rolled 40 (with 11 body) using 12 with the Hero (Champions) system with rolls of 4, 6, 3, 4, 2, 5, 4, 3, 3, 1, 4, 1.  EB Physical.

Sharp hits a DCV of 15 or less. (If you use those alternate rules, this likely constitutes a critical hit).
Anky takes 11 BODY 40 STUN Physical damage.

15:29, Today: Sharpshooter rolled 6 (with 1 body) using 2 with the Hero (Champions) system with rolls of 5, 1.  Knockback.

And 11-6 = 5" knockback, unless held by Nightshade.

Ankylosaur is knocked out for quite a while.  Even when the smoke clears Amarillo doesn't return.  Black Diamond arrives.

ok boss, who do you want me to hit?
She is wearing a stylish yet sensible outfit that looks flexible

. First make sure Ankylosaur is disarmed and taken to prison.  Without his armor, he's a normal person.  Second, help Miss Milosovitch find her friend so she can stop making wild accusations.  Its becoming tedious. Oh, and of course check on the innocent people here.  I hope no one got hurt. That should be all.

. Yes sir.  I do have my camera and microphone on at all times now

I've had a long day.  I think I've earned a rest.  I will have to check with my parole officer.  Good day all.  I hope you find your friend Miss Milosovitch

Flicker decides he's interested in the construction of Ankylosaur's armor, and begins to examine it with the intent of disassembling it.

When a tinny voice from Ankylosaur's left boot screams, "not disassemble".
No, just kidding.

Calming down the Bat.

In reply to Nightshade (msg # 64):

M.O. settles her board down, then gets her body swinging to get enough momentum to ponderously waddle over to NightShade.

NightShade feels a brush of her hip, before she feels the pudgy hand on her shoulder.

"Everything has it's time, this isn't that time.  Trust me." she says, her head tilted just down enough to give her chins more prominence and looking up at her from under her brows.  One slightly raised in a familiar look that says she's already done the research.

M.O. brushes McGavin down with a reassuring smile, making sure everything is straight and wrinkle free, while actually patting down his coat coat pockets in search of anything hard the size of a vial.

"Sorry about that, Mr. McGavin, my partner can be a bit...exhuberant...in her pursuit of Justice."

09:08, Today: Majestic Ocean rolled 11 (with 4 body) using 3 with the Hero (Champions) system with rolls of 3, 2, 6.  Per 14-.

09:10, Today: Majestic Ocean rolled 9 (with 3 body) using 3 with the Hero (Champions) system with rolls of 1, 2, 6.  Acting 13-.

Flicker looks down at Ankylosaur, sans armor, and says to Sharpshooter, "sometimes I think guys like this would've done more damage if they'd never found their gimmicks. Imagine the number of lives his attitude would have destroyed if he hadn't found that armor. At least this way his focus is on us... I think we can take it."
Seeing Nightshade approaching, he nods towards her and is suddenly walking by her side. He says, only, "Hey, dollface, you look put out. Are you ok?"

Nightshade smiles at the welcome greeting from Flicker. She tosses her chestnut brown hair away from her face and carefully tucks it back behind her large furry bat ears.
"I've had better days Flicker, but for now but I'm no longer hangry. Sometimes a good meal and a spontaneous and justified violent release of force goes a long way towards a measure of inner peace." The smile on her face grows slightly wider as they continue walking to join the other heroes.
