In reply to Majestic Ocean (msg # 52):
As soon as the world stopped spinning and Primus had the situation under control, Doll made her way back to the front door of the homeless shelter to find that the auditors that she had traveled here with had gathered outside to watch in curiosity as the authorities took control now that the immediate threat was over.
Thankfully they didn't hit the shelter, she thought. It would make the funds that she expected the foundation would be awarding to go further and address other critical needs.
"I'm sorry about separating from our group like that, Mr. Garing," she said apologetically to the organizer of this trip.
"I felt that this was just a little bit more important under the circumstances."

Calling out to Doll: "Hey Doll! Ride with Us!" As she picks up the hatch plate and ponderously starts making her way towards Black Diamond's pickup...
Is that...?
Although she wasn't part of this group that she believed that she overheard as calling themselves the Neighborhood Watch, Doll felt the need to accompany them in case that this was just one of many such incidents that threatened the safety of the public.
Addressing her group again, she told them
"I know this isn't very professional of me but I think that I need to see what's going on," as she turned to leave.
"I'll send my evaluation report by tomorrow morning," she promised.
Breaking into a run, she dashed across the street and created a spectacle for anyone who noticed by easily leaping upwards several times her diminutive height to gently land in the pickup truck where Ava had been heading.
