OOC: Did Majestic Ocean and Doll receive any details about what is happening at the school or did they just receive an alert requesting assistance at that location?

4 viper agents were seen entering the school.  Possible hostage situation.  Not much information right now.

"So because of our relative ... unique natures ... I'm thinking you handle the recon.  Once you get the lay of the sitch, you let me know and I'll barrel in to draw fire, giving you the chance to surprise attack from behind..."

"If this is a hostage situation, that's going to complicate things.  If they have a whole lecture hall of hostages, they could end up being targets instead of you.  One hostage isn't much better, but maybe that puts more of them on lookout rather than all of them pointing their weapons at their hostage," Doll explained.

"I guess we'll know more once we get there... where they're hiding, what the risks are to people and property, see if they have any demands.... It might be better to let them go and deal with them later."

"Have you heard about anything happening on campus that Viper might be interested in?" the tiny woman asked.

In reply to Doll (msg # 6):

"No more info than the GM gave you..."  She says, looking at the 4th wall in annoyance.

"Oh! April is back, plus my parents are in town to visit.  Plus I lost 10 pounds."  Ava adds, frowning at the last two...

"You know, most people would think that all three of those are good things," Doll teased after noting Ava's negative reaction.

"Wow, I haven't seen your parents in a very long time," she suddenly realized.  "I doubt that they'd recognize me now."  That was back when she was still a normal-sized young teenager instead of a doll-sized young woman.

"I guess the last time that I saw them would have been right after you had disappeared.  They had reached out a couple of times just hoping that I remembered something or that you had contacted one of us..." her voice trailed off.  It wasn't a pleasant memory and it only reminded her of what her own parents had gone through after she went missing not that long afterwards.

"So, I guess that what I'm saying is that they care about you, no matter how intrusive it might seem at the moment." Doll said, trying to be supportive.



"Viper again?  There's got to be something bigger going on, unless this is just a diversion..."

Her attention turned towards the black van that was passing them.

" I mean, I love her, and after time apart she is finally coming around to the idea of letting me control my own size.  But she got upset when she found I'd lost weight...um...to the point I felt compelled to tell her I'd put it back on.  Plus, y'know how she was in high school with her obsession about feeding me? To the point that it became our...thing?  Well, since high school she's gotten more...public...with it..I'm more private than that.  Still, over the last few days alone, I've realised how much easier it is with her helping me function semis normally without using my powers...so there's that..."

"As for my parents, I doubt you'd recognize them, either.  Growing up, they were more self absorbed and wanting me to be the perfect daughter, spoiling me with things and expecting me to keep up appearances.  While I was in school, Pygmalion got hold of them, too, brainwashing them in letting themselves go, now they are like 500 pounds apiece.  They dote on an pay attention to me more, which is what I always wanted from them, but they still want me to keep up appearances.  Only now they expect me to finish what Pygmalion intended for me and want me to weigh as much as both of them put together!  They even showed up in a catering truck today..."

" So yeah, mixed blessings..."

"And yeah, I see the van too..."

"So do we pull it over for the fake license plates, or do you want to ride on top and we'll see where it goes?"

"The van?" Doll asked, not having noticed the details with the license plate until Ava had pointed it out.

"I don't think that our Primus status gives us that kind of jurisdiction.  Leave it to the local cops to handle if you want to call it in.  We've got other priorities at the moment dealing with Viper."

After a moment of thought, the tiny woman quickly added.  "Maybe keep an eye on it.  They're going in the same direction that we are.  If they're heading to the campus, they could be working for Viper or they could be another group that's looking for the same thing that Viper was."

In reply to Doll (msg # 14):

"Do you want to ride on top so I can fall back a bit?  I'm not exactly inconspicuous..."

"No.  They're not the priority right now.  If they aren't going to the university, then I could end up taking a ride to the other side of town with someone who may just be trying to get away with something minor."

"Not to mention making it harder for me to find another ride to the school if we get separated," Doll explained.

"Just hang back a little.  They didn't notice anything when they passed us.  If they see us, they'll either try to flee or shoot at us or something... then we'll know for sure that they're up to something suspicious!" she said, trying to make light of the potential danger that their superheroic activities often placed them.

"Here's the plan, when they stop, I'll send a wave to tip them on their side then you punch then open mechanism so the doors that are exposed can't open..."

Knowing that Primus may be waiting for them to assist with the possible hostage situation on campus, the shrunken superheroine reached for the communicator that she had been given to provide an update on the situation.

"<< We've got a suspicious vehicle heading to the school.  Black van with phony license plate.  Might be a Viper support team."

"We will be disabling the vehicle.  Need assistance to secure the suspects.  Will advise location.  Standby. >>"

Doll cringed at her attempt to try to sound professional when coordinating with a group of trained individuals whereas she was just trying to figure it out on her own.

"Primus will probably want to send us for some kind of training sessions... you know, if they decide to keep working with us," she suggested to Ava.

In reply to Doll (msg # 19):

"Probably, though honestly I'm probably more useful in an investigative capacity rather than purely muscle.  Hopefully I can convince them of this, as just being utilized for my powers doesn't look good on a resume..."

"Whatever you end up doing for Primus, there's a way to make it look good on a resume," Doll explained sympathetically.
