I'll give you any warning she'd give, but overall the only thing unusual about this place is that it's hidden. You can learn more by asking Tonirean about what you'd like to know.

Alright, that sounds good. It seems they aren't as wary of strangers as I feared they might be.

Anyone have anything else they would like Spriggy to ask about before we rest for the night?

Somehow the XP I just earned is the first XP I got since June. I must have been rolling well!

I made a secret Spout Lore roll, for Buck to look into the plants. Give me some feed back and I will post accordingly.

I think everyone is separate, but not too far off from each other. Everyone except Spriggy is fighting a couple orcs on their own.

Re: The remodeled OOC bar

I think we were initially all in relatively close proximity around our site (say within ~30 feet of each other), with a cliff at our back.  I then went charging away to tackle the leader, so I'm probably 30-40 feet away from the camp, with 3 orcs (hopefully now fewer) between me and the rest of you.

Re: The remodeled OOC bar

I believe that I popped up from the gear pile to attack one as they were distracted by Gorrid's charge but I'm not sure where that puts other Orcs.
There was the Leader that Gorrid is on and "while four orcs approaches your camp, he signals four more to circle your camp".
"The leader has three orcs close to him." That leaves one floating.
"Three of the orcs fall, while Gorrid's opponent stumbles back"
Then, "On the side, Gorrid finds two of the orcs moving to block his path, while the leader stumbles back with his third guard's help."
So, that implies that 2 from those circling went for Gorrid while the one floating helped the Leader.

One of the remaining 2 threw powder at Spriggy and "Buckthorn takes advantage of his distraction to take him out."
That leaves 1 but "The other two orcs snarl as they strike the druid,"

I'm no longer sure of the numbers or placement at this point.
What I want to do is help Buckthorn if that is the most opportune opponent.

Re: The remodeled OOC bar

So a recap of the fight:

The twelve orcs split into three groups: the leader and his three guards (A), the four who slipped around the camp (B), and the four that went straight in (C).

Russel and Buckthorn both faced one of the groups of four (B and C), while Gorrid charged the leader's group. Spriggy stayed in the back, behind the fire. Your first attack killed 2 orcs in B, one in C, and injured the leader.

Gorrid finished off the leader in the second attack, while Buckthorn killed a second orc in C.

And with this round, Buckthorn killed another of his opponents (leaving just 1 orc in group C), and Gorrid took out two more on his side (leaving 1 in group A). Russel still has two foes in group B.

As far as distances go, Russel is about fifteen feet from Buckthorn, and about thirty to Gorrid.

Re: The remodeled OOC bar

If you Spout Lore, feel free to use one of Spriggy's books. Just let me know if you do so that I can mark it off. I think I will wait for Russel and/or Gorrid to make their posts before I have Spriggy do anything else. Also, did anyone want to claim the healing herbs? Or should I add them to the pony cart/goat load?

Can Buck use one of his three bandages to heal most of the damage he took from the fight?

Could do that.  Sir Gorrid could also cast a healing spell and save consumables.  Waiting to see what happens with the poison first...

Spriggy could also sing a healing song, since I know how much Buckthorn likes it when Spriggy sings.

Now I am imagining Gorrid attempting to sing a healing song and Buckthorn's injury actually does spontaneously heal! Except it healed out of desperation so that Buckthorn can escape from the sound.

Re: The remodeled OOC bar

The bandages in Buck's inventory say "... heal someone else's injuries..."

Can he trade one in to bandage himself up and heal 4 damage while we muse over the our grand, dragon entrance? If not, he'll just tough it out as is for now. He's a bit traumatized.
