The Patchwork God:
They do. In a way, the 'undead' part is more about the necromantic forces animating a body (or maintaining a spirit in place) than anything else. To give an example from Egyptian mythology, an undead would be any being who lost their 'Ka' (vital essence), but still maintained their Sekhem (power or form).
Ok cool. Basically if they're dead-but-still-here in some way I guess :) Whereas, say, an actual resurrection would re-grant actual life I guess.
So I'm assuming some undead would count as "persons", while others wouldn't? Like, let's see... mindless skeleton = not a person; debonair vampire lord = person?
I don't have any specific plans in mind, just wondering!
