I think I will be a Dragonborn Wizard if that is acceptable by all...looking forward to it!

Nate: dwarven cleric, melee, healer
Mike: gnome artificer, utility caster
Wade: dragonborn wizard, blaster/control?
Erich: aarakokra ranger, ranged, stealth?
SilveryStone: dragonborn paladin, melee, charisma
Darrell: ________ warrior?

If that's it I think weve got the bases covered. We might be a little squishy up front and lacking a true rogue, but we should be able to navigate most challenges.

I'll try to get mine done this weekend... I'm actually heading to the West Coast, so travel and other obligations may hold me up, but I should be able to make it happen.

Not sure how this format works. Forgive me for dumb questions but the last time I played D&D was 30 years ago in Jr. High.

Here's the play I would like to make:

I rolled a 10 on the 1d20 with a +3 dexterity modifier. The intention is to land, navigate safely, confront the Captain face to face, and tell him, "As I said, landborn, I am at your service. What are your orders?"

I dont think there's any risk of dumb questions... what you've got is basically right on. In games Curtis and I have played in or run on RPoL, you'd just post exactly as you did, then add a section at the bottom titled OoC (for out of character) with any crunchy game mechanics, if/then conditions, or things you'd ask or tell the DM as an aside.

Based on your post, you could offer a Dex roll as you did to land safely in a crowd, an Intimidate check to bully commoners, or an attack/damage roll if you actually want to hurt someone, which will probably lead to initative and melee. You can also just describe what you intend and Curt will ask for your rolls.

Can we introduce new players? I have a friend that would love to play and is really enthusiastic about the lack of time constraints that a traditional campaign takes as he's at home with a very rambunctious toddler.

If a few players dropped. Yes but we are already past my normal max of 5. However if I start any more games I would be happy to take other players. Also I might have space in one of my other games as one of the characters may have dropped out. Have him email me and I will see if I can squeeze him in somewhere...

Just an FYI, I will be working on a job until about the 19th. Long days and patchy reception so feel free to use Qrurr as a NPC if I'm holding anything up.
