Rules

General Conduct

Me, I'm a stickler for being nice to each other. I know that after a shitty day at work or a particularly taxing family dinner it can be difficult, but you all have to be polite to each other.

That is to say, if you want to argue in game then by all means! However, it begins and ends in character and if you're going to draw blood, so to speak, you have to be comfortable with the consequences. I'm not going to stop you from fighting each other if you choose to, but unless it's play fighting or training it can make the group dynamic a bit frosty.

At the bottom of these rules is a list of topics that are off limits. If you wander into those topics then you will be removed from the game. These will be hard limits that I get from Rpol, my own personal preferences and any hard limits you all have.

Allowed Supplements

  • Vampire the Requiem: Blood and Smoke
  • Secrets of the Covenants
  • Blood Sorceries: Sacraments and Blasphemies

Please note: Blood Sorceries was written for first edition, but we are using it as outlined in the Blood and Smoke book (pg 151).

Off limit topics
  • Rape
  • Excessive gore
  • Child abuse
  • Direct depictions of suicide

Rules

Regarding the draining of Werewolves for Unnatural Affinity

quote:
Once the victim's Health boxes are full of aggravated damage, the player spends a point of Willpower and rolls Strength + Resolve. Vigor may add dice to this roll; the Willpower point does not. The player may continue to roll, until they run out of Willpower to spend, or they achieve a number of successes equal to the Werewolf's Primal Urge. Once they reach that mark, the draining is complete.

The player gains one Experience per dot of the victim's Primal Urge, which can only be used to purchase Blood Potency. As well, the player gains a dot to one of their physical attributes.

Draining a werewolf does not risk Diablerie Addiction and does cause the Tainted Condition.

(Please note similar rules would apply to other splats if you chose them as your particularly brand of strange food)

Rules

Feeding rules for this game

You have two options for feeding:

1) If you would like to simply feed to get it out of a way, you can roll for feeding. I will be creating a general feeding thread for this purpose.

2) If you would like the chance to earn beats by roleplaying, you can post in Thread Request for a feeding thread to be set up.
As an option, you can ask other players to play as the mortal you are hunting. Anyone who volunteers to be a mortal for a feeding scene will also earn a beat.
If nobody volunteers, I will play as the mortal so people don't miss out on beats if they want to roleplay for them.

If you have any questions, please reach out!

Rules

Language Houserule

Everyone gets one free language. Before starting play (or when this rule comes into effect) players can know as many extra languages as they have Intelligence dots. Please make sure the languages your character knows make sense in regards to who they are and where they've been.

Once play commences, any new languages will have the normal cost to learn.
