Round 2 in the Battle of the Pawnshop

First off sorry for the long radio silence, you know how it is, the world got very busy at just the moment when this needed some focus.

Anyway, hopefully focus is returning. Let’s pick up from where we left off:

Ulf is up in the tower manifesting Orlanth in one of his many angry modes, javelins are being hurled around like lightning bolts, in fact that’s not really an analogy given what the Thunderer god is all about. Two thugs in the street are still heading for the tower where Ulf is hanging out although one is also wrestling with a javelin sticking in him. Another javelin descends (8v2 – success vs success) another one hits him spinning him around. The second thug breaks away and approaches the temple.

Round the back Mica is picking off the thugs on the roof she shoots the one with his back to her (3v2 – success vs success) he too drops flat on the roof.

At the back door two thugs continue to hammer away at it and it’s starting to come apart.

At the front door there is a log of hammering too but it’s pretty sturdy, it’s going to hold out for a while.

Again no sign of Darston and the Blue/red woman.

What would you like to do next?

Are there still thugs on the roof?

Mica checks around to make sure that the Witch and the Thane aren't sneaking up on her.  A quick whistle to the geese gets them to fan out around her, to act as an early warning system (if that's possible).

Assuming she spots no danger, she'll target anyone left on the roof, followed by the thugs at the back door, in that order.

I believe she only has 3 arrows left, but I might be wrong.

There are two thugs on the roof but they are both lying down now.

No sign of the witch and Darsten. The geese are currently gathered around you gabbling away the goose equivalent of “Go Mama!” this is giving you a bonus of +3 when shooting, you can redeploy them but you’ll lose the +3, let me know.

The thugs by the backdoor it is then.

Round 2 in the Battle of the Pawnshop

Fyri and the thug both go for it and both fumble! Fortunately Fyri still has a bump so the thug gets butted into a handy watertrough. That will take him out of action completely in a no doubt amusing shot if this was a film.

Any reactions?

If not I'll start round 3.

Can Fyri see where the witch is?  - bit worried about her, other wise not sure we can do anything but wait - is there anything suitable in the kitchen that I could throw at people coming through the door?  jars of syrup, milk etc that may make their side of the floor slippery?

I'll lose the geese - they're attracting attention to me.
Get them to fan out and kick up a fuss if anyone trips over them - I want them to act as an early warning of anything nasty sneaking up on me if that's possible.

If the thugs on the roof are down, I'll take a shot at whichever one is currently trying to kick in the door.

Am I still in a position to throw javelins or are the thugs getting too close to me now? If the latter then I better get in position at the top of the stairs, hopefully to keep them coming at me one at a time and will throw javelins at them as they come up.

Fyri's out the front, sadly you don't have a telepathic link with him, from the sounds out in the street he's enjoying himself.

Angara has a spear and shield and stands opposite the door ready tackle anyone coming through it, there’s a fairly constant hammering at the door which is starting to buckle. There are several such pottery jars around containing suitable products.

The geese scatter in a cacophony of squawking.

There's some movement on the roof but nobody is stupid enough to show their face.

You take a shot at the guys at the backdoor: 2W v 14 rolled 3v2 failure bumped to success aggainst success so a marginal victory. the thug looks confused as an arrow skims past his ear.

One has made it past you and presumably is entering the temple below. You can still see one i nthe street who's not doing well judging from the javelins sticking out of him and the way he's reeling about.

OK, let's try and keep the posts together: post your round 3 actions here (note I've already resolved Mike's for reasons I am not 100% certain about - brain fried I guess).

Ok, I'll throw another javelin to try and knock the one in the street out of the fighting before moving to the top of the stairs to face the thug coming up.
