A-Raiding We Will Go
In reply to dashing (msg # 1):
The party heads off. I'll spare you all the details of the many interesting landmarks, these are all listed on Kanka. I will assume you have some basic understanding/knowledge of the local geogrpahy but you might want to familiarise yourself with some of it (so I'll assume you'll really want to avoid the Cinder Pits for example but won't tell you why).
Red leads you unerringly up past the Smokey Hill, up past the Little Starfire Ridge and then through Voriof's Sheep Pen (there are quite a few sheep and shepherds here from the clan, they all look at the mob of you passing through with, well sheep eyes). At the edge of the Pen you all bid farewell to the various Stickpickers accompanying you and they settle down to wait for you through the night.
Clearly up until this point Red has been following a route he's scouted out, as you are now leaving Orlmarth clan territory he seems to grow a bit more hesitant. Angara rests on one of his spears and looks around whenever there is a delay.
You skirt round Irnar's peak and then past the Three Sister's (which you can just about make out in the gloom). After a bit of fumbling around Red starts to head towards the woods. he's looking for something, and eventually he gives a small cry of triumph and heads down what appears to be an animal track into the woods. This seems to be a well trod path.
The Woods are pretty creepy and after about ten minutes everyone is getting a bit jumpy, the sudden appearance of a disturbingly glowing hare off to the left hand side is not such as to raise anyone's spirits. It bounds away and then in a distressingly human way stops and looks over it's shoulder at you. What do you do?
