What Ruleset?
I am most familiar with 2nd Edition, that is the only version I have played although I do have a copy of 3rd edition I can start looking at if need be.

Which version do you guys prefer?  Any particular reason you prefer that version?

I just downloaded 3rd edition but whatever we play is fine as long as I can find the rules etc.

Just downloaded 2nd edition. I think 3rd edition might be funnier to play but a little harder. We get skills that we train up unlike 2nd where we just have the stats from what I saw. #rd can make each character a little more unique to other characters just by skills alone. Just my opinion.

If a guy rolls a bit  lower on abilities, the 3rd ed will allow him several more skills to balance him out, EX. if you roll high will get 6 skills and if bad you get 10 skills. This will make sure that every player could make some difference to the group.

Am really liking 3rd ed. Just rolled a guy and the system looks great.

I am going to read through 3rd Edition tonight and check it out.  Regardless of which system we play, I warn you all I will be unforgiving.  No secret rolls folks, unless I specifically ask for them.  All rolls will be visible for everyone.  A fatal head shot to a character will not be fudged, the Wild West is brutal and dangerous.  John Wayne dies in most of my favourite movies, you have been warned!

Still working my way through 3rd edition, it's a bit different to what I am used to with 2nd edition but the extra skills etc means characters are more customisable so I am starting to lean that way.  Anyone else got any thoughts?

Also if you roll badly on the stats you get more skills, thought this was a good way to make everyone a useful part of the team. Those Life skills can be very useful and important so having evena guy with loust stats  but more skills makes him fun to play.

I'm happy with third edition, it beats first and I don't have second.

I've only played 2nd ed.  I can access a 3rd ed version if that's what we go with, but will be learning that version from scratch.

I would definitely prefer the 3rd edition. I think that gives the best flexibility and ruleset overall... :)
