If anyone is interested in killing zombies in the Wild West, I have just restarted an old test game of mine "13th US Cavalry Vs Zombies".  This game was originally a play test for a set of Home Brewed RPG rules that I now use in a couple of my games.

I have decided the restart the game with expanded skills and backgrounds for a bit of mindless, fun, zombie killing so it is no longer just the 13th Cavalry, survivors can come from almost any background now :)

 With his leg wounds, can Ruf, walk, crawl?

He can hobble around, he doesn't have to crawl but he won't be able to run.  I will look for the specific rules and post them ASAP

How much did it cost each passenger for this Illmanaged journey west, how long will it take?

The three passengers on the stage have paid to get to Promise City, they could not afford tickets any further.  You arrive the next afternoon, as per the updates.

I am going to be traveling starting on the 14th til the 17th.  Do not wait on posts from me during this time.

So, just wondering- have we all played Red Dead Redemption 2?
Or, instead, what's your favorite Western? (Just getting OOC convo going. :) )

Not into computer games... not that much into Westerns but I do like a few... The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, Two Mules for Sister Sara, They calle me Trinity, stuff like that.

I like a lot of westerns and typically break them into different eras or stars.  For example, by John Wayne I like The Searchers, Fort Apache, Rio Bravo, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, True Grit and The Shootist.  From that era I also like Shane and High Noon.

I like most Clint Eastwood westerns but my favourites there would be the Sergio Leone "man with no name" trilogy, The Outlaw Josey Wales and Unforgiven.

There are also standalones that I like, movies like Tombstone, Open Range, Appaloosa, Silverado, the True Grit remake and more.  And the Lonesome Dove mini-series with Robert Duvall and Tommy Lee Jones.

Lastly, I've played both Red Dead Redemptions.

That's fair (the categories, and sorting by era). It'd be kind of unfair to grade everything as one thing. I never got to play RDR1- I only have a PC, and they never made a PC version.

Quick gameplay question: If I found (or set up) somewhere for Gil to practice target shooting, is there any sort of benefit he'd get from that, or would it be more of "a thing he's doing" for color?
