OOC Discussion

Sorry I've been lurking lately without posting, but Preston's more of a sword-and-board fighter - interrogating strangers tied up in haunted houses isn't his forte.  :^)

So what do you guys think? Preston doesn't want the guy to head out on his own, and is willing to lend him a handaxe if he'll take it.

IF you want to volunteer your EQ, Sylvy has no qualms. She probably even encourages the good behavior, but won't partake. HAha.

How's things everyone?

OOC Discussion

Hi all. I am still here and ready to keep things moving. It appears that Kerrek has gone among the missing as well. For now, I can keep things moving with them as NPCs. Soon, I will look at recruiting some new players. It looks like we have Preston, Sereyna, and Sylvy as actual PCs at this point.

I'm down, sir. A couple newbies might not be bad. But I think us three can handle a haunted house!!! Well, as long as it isn't too haunted.

All right then. We will keep plugging away for the moment. Please go ahead and respond to Ned's request and we'll get moving again. Thanks all!

OK, a new post is FINALLY up. If you all want to give me a general sense of how you'd like to explore the upstairs, I may be able to move things along a little quicker. Take a look at the image in post #58 in The Old Mansion if you need a reminder of where the halls and doors are.

Order sounds fine. Sylvy is not a rogue. She can find traps and lcoks but cannot deal with them. Haha. Sylvy is a ranger despite how she acts and looks.

When the tracks reach the window, do they just stop, or is it too far from Preston for him to tell?

The trail appears to go to the window and then back to the door, all the while sticking to the  same, apparently safer side of the floor.

So many reasons they get along! Well, Sylvy isn't the "nature loving" type of ranger as much as a specialist in a type of terrain and ranged combatant. Her terrain is oceans and shores after all. She's a smuggler.

Re: OOC Discussion

OK, do we actually let the party split into PC and NPC for the sake of ease? OR do we stay in character and not elt people we might consider friends wander off with someone we don't trust?

I will leave it to you all to decide. Pushing things a little, yes, but I can certainly accomodate whatever way you want to do it.

Re: OOC Discussion

So...it seems things are grinding to a halt here. We could perhaps pack it in and step away from the virtual table or maybe reboot a fresh start for the three who stuck around or something else.

And please feel free to RP out not accepting Ned's idea of splitting up while searching through a haunted house. Because, you know that nothing bad ever comes of splitting up, particularly to search through a haunted house.

If folks aren't into the game, that's fine. Just drop me a line here or in a PM to let me know what you'd like to do.

Thanks!

Re: OOC Discussion

I'm still here, and I apologize for disappearing without notice the last few days - I suffer from chronic migraines and had a four day stretch between Saturday and Tuesday that put me down for the count.

I think that either adding a few players now or a reboot with a few more players would be fine. If it's just the three of us, that's cool, too - I'll tell Ned to take the others and, "go that way."  :^D

I am happy to keep going as three.

Reboot or recruit as you see fit though, GM.
