Hi everyone.  First time Dungeon World player.  Been interested in the PtbA type games since I looking more into them near the beginning of the year.  Looking forward to seeing how this goes.

Bailor is the dwarf cleric.  May Brorrel's light shine down upon the party and grant the healing needed in times of need.

I'm also fairly new to dungeon world, having played a short lived game a year or so ago. I'm very much hoping that it will provide a good framework for our character's tales.

I know that bonds will imply we've at least encountered each other at some point, but do we want to come at this as a fully formed group, or have a "fancy seeing you here" kind of thing?

Well, I think I have the perfect bond between Phirosalle and myself.  Kaj is a wood elf from some of the deepest parts of the deepest forest.  Phiro, we could do a whole city elf/country elf Odd Couple type of thing.

Coraxa, you and I probably have the same mindset since Kaj is more-or-less a barbarian himself.

A little on Kaj's background: as mentioned above, Kaj is a very rustic wood elf from deepest- darkest-forestland.  Before leaving it, dwarves were a myth to scare small children, humans were rarities that usually wound up dead after inadvertently breaking some wood elf rule about the forest (which more often than not was "you're human and you're in the forest.")  Pretty much the only mostly-friendly races he'd seen prior to leaving were some gnome and halfling tribes.

He left his tribe for a traditional walkabout to both find himself and a wife.  He's had a bit of success with the first and a couple false starts with the second. Normally, elves almost never leave the forest on their trek, but his companion and spirit guide, a mangy lynx named Meqqusaaq -- Meq for short -- has led him out of the forest to here (wherever here turns out to be).

The wizards tower in Millsnor Ford has sent out a call to all adventure sekers.

So you may know each other from different adventures. And come together here to answer the call
Some may come as pre-formed groups, or individual

Depends on hiw thing go

You may adventure as individuals or in groups or all together

Im thinjing a scouting party

And maybe a retrieval party

You may all chose your own path

Coraxa is a sell sword running merchant ships up and down the Wasande river. Coukd have met anyone along her travles

Min's impulsive and has a tendency to land in unusual situations, but she's also very good at talking her way out of the problems that can turn up for someone who deals with the murkier areas of the mercenary life.

I imagine that she and Coraxa might have come across each other in their respective duties, though not always on the same side of situations. They might have a bond like "Coraxa will have my back...even if she'll want a share of the take in exchange."

Bailor is the thirteenth in line of kings for the great halls of Kernboldar.  It is a well off dwarven kingdom with good relations overall with the other races. Trade flows through the kingdom as they protect the mountain and roads leading between the lands North of the Skeld Highlands and those to the South of them.  As well as providing their own contributions to what leaves the city that are produced or mined by them.  (If it makes sense for the dwarven kingdom in the land as it stands or I can go back to the drawing board).

Being so far down the line the chances of Bailor ever becoming king he knew he was free to pursue his own interests.  Early in his life he learned of the ways of Brorrel and decided to become a priest of the god of restoration to spread the teachings and healings of those within the dwarven halls and to the civilized towns on either side of the mountain.

Min might be a good fit for the unlikely hero that Phirosalle has Foreseen will play a pivotal role in events. And I'm thinking Bailor for the one Phirosalle is sure is hiding something from him. Can't trust those clerics, they're just warlocks with better PR! 8)

              Min  or.   Phirosalle     owes me their life, whether they admit it or not.

I have sworn to protect Min or Phirosalle                     .

I worry about the ability of            Bailor or Kaj            to survive in the dungeon.

                 Bailor or Kaj      is soft, but I will make them hard like me.

So like a barbarian just more civlized

Hello everyone! I will be playing Joy Weaver, the halfling druid. I have a description on my profile page if anyone is interested. Joy is kind of a barbarian-ish type of character too, like it sounds like Kaj and Coraxa are too. So that could be a potential source of bond between the three of us.

As for gods and goddesses, Joy probably worships a wide pantheon of various nature deities. Most notably the deities of the scorching sun and torrential rain.

Coraxa would Probably use phrases such as "for the love of Neta" godess of warriors.( from celtic lore) I would say Zena but there is probably a copyright or somthing lol

Kaj can just use your standard elven pantheon if that's easiest.  He's already mentioned Alenor, the elven death god.

No worries on the bonds. They can be made up as story progress. Its kinda just a binus thing

I tried getting into the map but it says I need permission.  What's required?
