Booker, seeing the number of Goblins reduced, presses the attack. His arm becomes a blur-slashing and stabbing with inhuman speeds. Trying to score as many damaging hits as possible. If his foe falls early, he will deal with the extra on Bricklin.

OOC: Using torrential technique. If Foe does anything but defend, they will take additional damage.

11:24, Today: Booker Magestos rolled 8 using 1d8.  Additional damage if foe counterattacks.

11:23, Today: Booker Magestos rolled 6 using 1d8.  Damage.

11:23, Today: Booker Magestos rolled 11 using 2d6+2.  Arcane Duelist.

Seaphene indicated the dead goblins, and spoke to the two remaining, "do you see? it's dangerous out here. That's why we told you to stay in the closet."

She then spoke with the other adventurers, "It's too dangerous for the children also. We should get them someplace safe"

Booker looks at the blood on his clothes. "Well, that's wonderful! Now I can never beat Bricklin at fashion! I need to make up a whole other fake duel!" He said with sarcastic annoyance, pulling out a small bit of cloth and trying to clean off the blood-but fails utterly. He looked around the room. "Everyone else alright?"

Kaj nods toward the pair of goblins."What should we do with those two?" he asks.  "We warned them over and over not to get involved and they didn't listen.  We should just kill them and be done with it."

Kaj looks at the two goblins.  "You made a wise choice, so you still breathe.  Your friends, not so much."

"The goblins over there and the orcs over there, were they all you came with or are there more?  Think hard, because how you answer will determine what we do with you."

Re: On the hunt

"If you are volunteering to deal with the two goblins, Kaj, after they just helped us, then I won't stop you." She stepped aside and gestured toward the goblins' room. "I'm not going to help you though. Doesn't feel right. Even if it does make sense." Even lions and gazelles could coexist peacefully on rare occasions. At least for short periods of time.

"As for the young ones. Maybe someone should escort them to somewhere away from this building? Maybe you, Seraphene? I know they have taken a liking to Phirosalle, but I think they might end up smudging his robes or something." She smirked at Phirosalle. If Joy wasn't mistaken, the elf seemed averse to getting his hands dirty, let alone his clothes. And children were notorious mess-makers.

Re: On the hunt

Bricklin laughed at Booker’s comment as they wiped the goblin blood from their giant blade. “Come now, Booker! ‘Twas but a jest! I’ve told you once if I’ve told you a hundred times - it matters not if you win, but how strongly you believe in yourself!” He gave Booker a hearty slap on the lower back (as he was too short to reach his shoulders). “You are a fine specimen of battle-ready fashion.”

He paused as he heard Kaj speak to the remaining goblins. He readied his blade once more, a deadly look overtaking his face. He glares deeply at the goblins. “Friends? With goblins?” He directs his attention to the elf. “Friend elf, you’d best be careful trusting anything a goblin might say. They’re naught but liars, and even if they somehow tell the truth, they’ll alert their friends or stab you in the back at the first opportunity!”

In reply to Bricklin Sweetflower (msg # 230):

Booker is more or less forced a step or two forward after the friendly 'pat' on his lower back. "Oh sure, that's easy for you to say! Some of us have to learn from books and are not natural physical powerhouses!" He says with a smirk to his shipmate.

He listens to the elf speak about the Goblins. "Aye, you make a good point. I recommend we bring them along in case their 'recollections' need refreshing."

Re: On the hunt

Kaj sigh over these goblins' implacability.  They may be cowardly in a fight but they know how keep their lips tight.

"Here are the choices you have:  one, you can cooperate with us and tell us everything you know and we'll let you go.  We'll even walk you to the city gate to be sure no one else harms you either.  Two, we can kill you.  Or three, we can turn you over to the city and they'll either kill you or they'll toss you into the dungeon where you'll rot for years before dying."

"If you don't go with option one, I suggest having us kill you over the authorities; it'll be much quicker and we'll try to make it as painless as possible.  Probably slit your throats.  One quick cut and it's over in a minute.  Slowly wasting away in prison is no way to go."

Bricklin walks over to the two goblins and stands next to Kaj. With slow, careful movements, the stout halfling points his massive greatsword at the two, holding it with only one hand - an impressive feat for one so small. He looks at Kaj.

Joy kept one eye on both Krin and Brin so that she wouldn't be caught off-guard by a potential attack, but made no move to harm either one. She figured the others were perfectly capable. Instead she focused her efforts on the map she had found among the bodies. "Judging by this, it looks like they came from somewhere called Earkorti, down the Wassende South River. Milsnor Ford is circled. Anyone know anything about Earkorti?" She looked meaningfully at Krin. The goblin who had just been told to think hard about his next move.
