DM Kandagger:
In the editor everything lined up perfectly -___-
Trap for young players ;)
No no, the map you've chosen is a good idea, I like it. Much less work for the DM, that's for sure, and gives us more than enough information to go on. I just needed to clarify how everything matched up since Beata kept moving around between zones across my devices. :)
There may (read: will) be combats in the future where a more detailed map may prove handy, especially if you have those maps already to hand! So that'll be good to see if you're willing to share them at the time.
But I like the idea of using the tracker to determine which enemy we're engaged with, too. If we can agree on a standard order of enemies (A to Z = top to bottom, for example), then that shows our individual relative position in the line with minimal extra effort, which is a level of detail that could end up being important if we need to rush to someone's aid, or for a cleric like myself, who might need to know roughly how far he has to go to heal people.
