We seem to have lost our poxy rogue. How wonderful, given the traps in this place :/

Re: Out of Character Thread
I intended the in-game post to be up by yesterday, but...well, RL gets in the way.

Gonna be a little less on top of things for the foreseeable future, but I will try to keep the Sunday (or thereabouts) posts from dying.

I am highly amused by -and a bit proud of- the druid and the nature cleric being the ones to question a blanket oath :)

haha, yeah it's fun to see!

Beata isn't exactly sold either but she doesn't care enough to really question it.

I forgot to ask earlier, but I don't suppose the round-trip while Ila was escorting the Matriarch to Kirkward would have counted as a short rest for everyone else?

Afraid not.  It was a 2 minute walk at most.

These are trials after all.

Sorry about missing this Sunday...new offspring in the house will do that to you.

I intend to have the first combat round up some time this week.

I'll post Ekmas Saturday night if no one else goes. Since he's last, I was hoping to see who damaged what first. He will totally go after a weaker one to finish it off :)

Re: Out of Character Thread
If I'm doing my math right the one Beata and Seth are beating up has 1 HP left.

Tactically it makes sense to finish it off, but it terms of character motivation I thikn Beata and Seth would both be grumpy about the kill steal.

Follow your character's heart. :P

Re: Out of Character Thread
Right, action paralysis. Ila's attack spells are all fire based right now. She's rather certain they won't do anything. Haha. I'll get something up.

Re: Out of Character Thread
Lol, Seth. Makes sense they'd be grumpy. I think Ekmas just figures kill-stealing is fair game in the universal karmic sense after having *his* kills stolen in the last fight- if not by Beata and Seth specifically.

Head's up: Work's crazy busy this week. Hasn't been my turn to post for a bit, but it could be a while before things level out.

Re: Out of Character Thread
Yeah, Sorry all.

The newborn isn't sleeping through the night yet, and until he does I'm not going to have enough brainpower to do much DM-ing.  Which unfortunately means you all suffer.

I'm not going to delete this game, and try to revive it once I'm able to run it confidently.  If you're still around we can continue where we were.  If not, I'll either start it fresh with new folks or start from the next "section" of the story with whoever is left over + the new folk.

Until that happy day, good luck with all your other games.

Re: Out of Character Thread
Hey, I get it.  I helped my single mom raise my two younger siblings, had a stepson in my first marriage, a son by a girlfriend, and a stepdaughter and second son by my current wife.  There were many nights when "baby mama" didn't have to get up, because I did it; I've never really slept much anyway.

Yeah a baby changes everything!
I'll be keeping an eye here, for sure, but parenthood comes first.
