Posting Rules

Please keep the following rules and guidelines in mind when you are making an ingame post:

  • As mentioned in the RTJ thread, each participant in this game is expected to post at least once every 48 hours, with weekends being the exception. During combat this posting rate should be increased to once every 24 hours if at all possible. Should you, for any reason, not be able to do so for an extended amount of time (due to illness, workload, holiday, etc.) please let me know about it as soon as you can.

If you are absent for several days without notice, you will get a PM from me asking for an update about what is going on. Should I not receive any answer in a timely fashion, you will risk being dropped from the game eventually. In general, I will replace players after 2 weeks of silence without explanation. It is in all of our interest to be kept in the loop and it is not fair to me or the other group members if this rule is not observed.

  • As mentioned in the Character Creation thread, keep all OOC-notes and mechanical text in orange and put it at the end of your post.

  • During combat we will use group initiative. This means that players and monsters will be grouped together based on their results. All players in the same group may post at any time when their group is up (every post of me will indicate which group or character is currently active) without regard to their actual initiative order within the group.

  • All of your combat posts must include mechanical information at the end, including to which square your character is moving (based on coordinates in the battle maps), explanation and/or rules text for abilities and spell being cast (so I don't need to look them up myself), attack roll and damage roll results, save DCs, as well as the corresponding dice roller entries.

  • If you haven't posted during an encounter for more than 24-36 hours and your turn is all that keeps everyone waiting, I might include a basic combat action for you to keep things moving.
