~~Character Creation~~

Players should make characters following Chapter 1 in the 5E Player's Handbook. Here are some guidelines specific to this campaign.

Ability Scores
Roll 4d6 and drop the lowest die. Assign in any order. All rolls must be made using the online Dice Roller.

You get to roll one set of abilities. You will not be allowed to roll multiple sets and choose the best set.

Starting Hit Points
A first-level character gets the maximum number of hit points rather than rolling their appropriate hit die, plus any Constitution bonus. So you don't need to roll for first-level HP.

Leveling Up
Because we'll be playing characters of levels 3-4, you will need to level up as part of your character creation. Follow the details in your class description in the Player's Handbook. For hit points at higher levels, you can either roll (using the Dice Roller) or use the average value -- just pick and stick with that method.

Character Death
When a character dies, that player can make a new character if they want to continue playing. We'll work that character into the story as soon as possible.

Additional guidelines will be added as the need arises.
