SIN is good!

Billy Masterson is back!  The famous rockerboy released his 32nd album, At the Stocking-Hop, earlier this month.  In it, BMast fuses his traditional rock music with 1950's musical vibes.  Although this is derivative of Emperor's debut album where he/she fused today's metal scene with 90's grunge, Masterson's effort has yielded better results.

Reportedly, the entire album was recorded in one session and without using multi-track.  This helps to give the songs the raw musical feel that one gets from albums from the time of the birth of rock and roll.

Stocking-Hop has nine original songs and one remake - "Breathless", originally recorded by the 50's rockerboy and child fucker, Jerry Lee Lewis.  The debut song, "SINless and Sixteen" is a catchy tune that you have probably already heard people humming on the elevator.

The Decapitator strikes again!

Another innocent biker has lost his head.  Well, half of it.

Georg Samson, described as a low-life and unapologetic ganger, has lost his life.  Samson was riding his bike on the way to a gang initiation in Little Kingston when he rode into a monofilament wire strung in an alleyway.  The wire caught him across the bridge of his nose, leaving the top half of his head 50 feet from his body.

This is the 23rd biker that has been killed in related incidents.  The NCPD still have no leads and still have no idea if these deaths are attributable to one person only.  They do recommend that bikers invest in the new KeepYourHeadTM technology by SafeDrive GmbH.

In reply to Night City Courier (msg # 1):

Ultra koala? She should be more interested in the AV story but, trashy news satisfied some part of her brain that she wasn't too fond of.

"Ultra" koala kills handler.

Biotechnica is mourning one of their own today.  Franklin Redd has died from injuries sustained from one of his charges - an "ultra" koala.

One of Nicolo Loggagia's (CEO of Biotechnica) dreams has been to bring back extinct plants and animals.  In order to prevent a re-extinction, these plants and animals have had features added to help with self defense.  The koala in question has had fangs and venom sacs added.  It is believed that Mr. Redd died from a poisonous bite from one of these koalas.

Loggagia's efforts have been widely criticized for exactly this reason.  "We are introducing elements into the biosphere that were never intended by nature", says Jill Khatri, spokesperson for Nature as Nature Intended, a watchdog group.  "These koalas - and Mr. Loggagia's other 'experiments' - have the possibility to become predominant species upon their release to the wild."

It is believed that the "ultra" koala's DNA has been spliced with the DNA of the Russell's Viper, one of the most deadly snakes in the world.  Mr. Redd would have had no chance of surviving such a bite.

AV-6 Sideswipes Arasaka HQ

Video evidence shows an unidentified AV sideswiping Arasaka HQ.  At 1103 pm last night, an AV touched the building and then dove for the irradiated zone.  The vehicle and the driver remain unidentified.

When contacted, Arasaka responded that they did not even know of the event and no damage to the building was evident.
