Tried to bust out a turn during my 30 minute lunch break. Got as far as Cipher's question, but didn't have time to add much color to the scene, so will add a bit later. I don't anticipate more dialogue, though, so please don't wait on me.

I'm seeing four possibilities here:

1.  Physical replacement (doppelganger).
2.  Mental replacement (same body, but mind overwritten).
3.  Mental modification (same person, but with "upgrades" or conditioning).
4.  Stokes is crazy.

For narrative purposes, I'd like to eliminate 4.  That still leaves us with a few different avenues of investigation.

I think we need to start with her first business trip, retrace her movements, see if we can figure out where she got kinked. That's really all I got.

Any other ideas?

I'm wondering if there's a way to do a comparison of her biometrics and kinesthetics before and after the change.  Also, if Viceroy is good enough to detect any tampering in her medical records.

I say we kidnap and throw her in a faraday cage to EMCON her and see if she's under any external influences.

You could do surveillance for sure.  Viceroy can make a dive attempt on medical records.  There is also physical evidence (ex:DNA).  You could also try and back track the Taipei trip.  Or all of the above.  Sadie is supposed to be out of town for the next couple of days so you have a bit of time before the abduct and reprogram is an option.

If we have the capability, DNA comparison from samples pre- and post-trip could be instructive.  And then compare both of those against whatever's in her medical records.

Maybe getting ahead of myself here but if she has been swapped there may be a cash bonus for recovering the real Sadie.

Would the real slim Sadie please stand up…

Also, Stokes would presumably have a cybereye suite to analyze batters and record games for analysis.

I'm not sure what's on Cipher's character sheet, but it feels like she's probably our lead for investigative work here.  Martin has the socials to back her up but not the forensic capabilities.

Do we need to request forensic specialist support from Jasper?

Is Nyx the only one thinking about crashing in this place for a couple of days and having a party? (Not sure if crashing on this context exists in American English?)

Should you need forensic support, Jasper can provide, though it’s more in the form of “you get the McGuffin and we’ll analyze it for you.”
