Unfortunately, none at the moment. I do have one more PC deciding, and that is one of his choices, so maybe. Blessings :)

Re: OOC Chat!

Blood Hunter here, and more importantly a fine fiddle player! I heard a rumor that there might be another as well. "Who's a good boy? Who's a very good boy? You are. Yes, you are!"

Re: OOC Chat!

Great. Two different Blood Hunters :)

Do we have any martial class to round us out?
How about any others with healing abilities.

<---- Is not a bandaid :p

Re: OOC Chat!

Well, bloodhunters can craft healing potions, yay alchemy supplies. And, I was planning taking magic initiate cleric next level, so hold off and at least by next level I can sling a cure light once a day.

Re: OOC Chat!

If we are desperately short of healing I could probably switch to my alternate subclass choice, but the change is not dramatic, and comes at some cost in versatility.

Worst case once we can get a mobile home we can overstock on healing items. But that may be a bit off.

Re: OOC Chat!

It's not a big deal. The two classes I was mainly debating between was a Cobalt Soul Monk or a Cleric (Fighter Echo Knight was a though as well but it seems like we have some 'martial types' with the Blood Hunters, or at least one of them).

I'll see what interests me for a Cleric Domain and Deity.

Just wanted to make sure that as a group we're not expecting Kaplan to be the heal-all for the group. We need some overlap in that area :)

I wonder if there is such a thing as a cleric of the Luxon?

There is. Luxon is listed (with Domains) in the Explorer's Guide. I made a Drow Cleric of the Luxon in a different game that died.

This character I rolled all randomly on the Heroic Chronicles so not from the dynasty. =)

Re: OOC Chat!

If you want to get the most healing functionality at low levels you want a life cleric druid, then you just lean on goodberry a lot, which works well on bloodhunters as they tend to take small amounts of damage in a predictable manner rather than needing sudden assistance from surprise unconsciousness.

As opposed to Grave Clerics who wait for you to drop. Or look you over, see you have 4 hit points, smack you until you drop and THEN heal you, hahaha. =)

Good idea. Someone should do this :)
Who's going to revivify me if Kaplan dies?!? DundundunDUN LOL.

But in all seriousness. I'm here for the story. I'm only suggesting that it would be good to make sure that we can get to the end of the story. And that it would be a good idea to make sure that as individuals or in relationships that there are opportunities for individuals to be healed via magical or otherwise :)

Re: OOC Chat!

Then don't die. Seriously, go for armor, and good saves. Reduce the need for healing, and it doesn't matter how limited the healing is.

Or buy lots of potions. They're only 50 gp a pop.

Re: OOC Chat!

If we really need healing, I can dip into a level of Arcana-domain Cleric without skewing my concept.  The 5 extra cantrips would certainly be helpful to my utility, and our survivability.

Re: OOC Chat!

As agents of the Crown, after the first meet up adventure mind, The Queen's Quartermaster will give each member 2 healing potions and 100 gpcs before setting off to adventure. So you all should be good.

Will add these from the Tal'Dorei book under House rules.

Accelerated Downtime
Certain adventures thrive on the adrenaline of the chase,
or the ever-present fear of ambush. As it stands, the need
to take a short rest can prove difficult during long dungeon
crawls, and this lends itself to a nice tone of personal stress
and risk-vs-reward. However, sometimes a rest is necessary
for the party to even continue, but the current rush of the
story’s clock won’t allow for a standard short rest. You could
consider lessening the required time to complete a short
rest to 30 minutes or less for the moment, or your entire
campaign, as an option. Another possibility is to allow the
party to take an Arduous Rally if they so choose.

Arduous Rally
The party spends 5 minutes to rally their resolve in the
face of coming peril, the adrenaline fueling their need
to push on. The party benefits from the completion of a
full Short Rest, but all healing gained by spending hit
dice is halved, and all rallying characters suffer 1 point of
Exhaustion (p. 291 PHB). Can not do it again until after a long rest.

Blessings :)
