Hyellow, my name is [REDACTED] and I generally go by Lore, I shall be running a crafty (in more than one way) toon with a bit more focus on interaction/utility than raw combat. As of writing this post I am not and will not be in the mentioned discord server for some time, contact via this site shall have to suffice but I shall endeavor to check it at least once a day. Whilst I am relatively new to the system, I've been playing tabletop rpgs (D&D3.5, D&D5e, and a pinch of shadowrun) for about a decade, and I have a significant bias towards running support/utility roles. I shall be keeping exact details on my toon mysterious (for now) for extra spice, on top of simply not having them fixed at time of writing. Looking forward to whatever shenanigans may occur.

2 quick questions;

1.) Are we allowed the Manse Background?

2.) Can we go past Essence 5 (eventually) in gameplay?

 Don't mind me. Because you won't find me after a few seconds anyway if I don't want you too. Up to E5 gives me plenty of wiggle room and more fun for all of us than you can shake a stick at.

 Between the Martial Arts and the shape-shifting and general Lunar goodness I have a good idea of where and how this character will develop. The bigger question for me is this.

  Standard build or are there modifications? Just need to know which it is.

Standard Build via Exalted Modern setting rules unless it was noted otherwise in the CharGen thread. :)

First major thread will begin soon, just setting the stage on New Meru, the Imperial City. I'm assuming to have everyone start on the Isle, since it's the most central location in Creation, unless anyone has suggestions otherwise.

Should I assume a fair amount of homebrew due to Modern Setting. Mostly Firearms and the like.

There's actually an official book supplement for modern and future settings, it has statistics for modern vehicles firearms and armour along with accompanying artifacts. Shards of the Exalted Dream, I or the GM could provide access to a PDF, we both have a copy stored in Google Drive and Chozo has the pdf source sites saved iirc.
That isn't to say that homebrew ain't gonna be a thing, jus' that it won't be entirely necessary for firearms and the like.
