No worries; I meant "translate by making a bad face" (reacting) -- I shouldn't have gotten fancy with my word choice and just said "reacts."

It was based on a comic, which I never read.  The series had some promise, I think, but somehow it lost its way.

I hate when that happens, but it seems to a lot. Shows change runners, and the whole flavor changes. Happened to Sliders, which I enjoyed at first. Happened to the remake of Battlestar Galactica too.

Really liked Sliders, and I've thought about going back to rewatch/relive -- but then there's the bad stuff . . .

I grew weary of BG after a while.  Liked it early, but after a while it became tedious as each reveal was more of an "ugh!"

I lost interest in both when there were significant changes of tone. I could easily enjoy the first season of sliders. When they added the weird, what was it, cave men? As long term enemies, I lost interest.

And I agree totally on what happened to BG. Started out good, but fell into a pit of nonsense and confusion. Never even saw the ending.

I'm trusting you all to subtract the gold you spend. Don't forget the toll at the goblins, and this gold for the tavern.

Feeling sick, gonna take the day off, maybe two. Sorry.
