RTJs are not exactly flooding in but two is enough for this sort of game anyway.

I'll be dropping the first story post Monday night.

Sounds cool. I have been looking over character creation again just to get a better feel for it. Though I really haven't made much of a decision on everything. Hope to get a better grasp of Lash's build over the weekend.

Lash you will be at a sinificant disadvantage of your character sheet isn't filled out by then. RPGs are notoriously difficult without stats.

Yeah had plans to take care of that this weekend, but the wife had different plans and I ran out of time. And it will likely be after 8:00 est before I get a chance to work on it.

I too have wife. I'll go ahead and start the game on time and hopefully you'll have your stats approved before you need to make any rolls.

Camp SOP:

decide where to sleep
scout out the area for about fifty yards or so
gather some small sticks on way back
set up some basic trip lines around the camp
dig a fire hole to heat food and tea/coffee
prepare water if needed
set up bed
layout shoes, flashlight, and rifle in easy reach
make nay notes to travel journal/maps
sleep for the night
wake up
shoes, fire, coffee, boil water
pack everything up while pemmican soaks in boiling water
eat
clean up
prepare to move out by taking down trip lines and covering fire pit
head out to where ever i'm headed

Just a heads up for you guys. Started filling pretty crappy this week ans sure enough its Covid. Finding it a little hard to concentrate so I will probably be a bit lagy in my responses.

Whisper is a mutated raccoon, and the most striking thing about him, save for his bright green Mohawk and eyepatch, is a large, odd-looking sword. The blade is shaped strangely and it is made of some kind of metal you’ve never seen before.

@Whisper: I did read your description, but I wasn't sure about the clothes part. The text only mentions the eyepatch, but the picture shows him in a full outfit. So I was wondering if the picture is accurate with regards to his clothes.

I've never been to Flanders but i worked in Amsterdam through out uni. Amazing place.

I'm in Appalachia in the United States but I flew the flag of Flanders outside my bookstore (sadly closed now) throughout the centennial of the First World War (2014-2018).

I was surprised to be visited by a few families from that vicinity of Europe. The world is smaller than it seems.

Europeans tend to get out there, don't they :D

i used to work for him as a midget wrestler/luchador champion in west texas.

For the record I have worked with both Luchadores and Midgets (the term they all preferred) but most of them were better technical wrestlers than me already and didn't need any training.

As of now I am a writer (see also: unemployed) who's main project just got cancled.

I am having some sort of COVID19 related relapse that affects my breathing. May slow the game down for a minute but I'll be back asap.

Been through the Covid stuff and lost a close friend, my Brother-in-law, to it Sunday due to complications from it.

Sorry about that. Bad weather and loosing power a couple times has had me a little distracted.

Outside of combat there is no reason to concern yourself overly much with posting order.

I'm not entirely sure how far I'm travelling in the same direction as the other two. Can I just assume we're heading generally the same way or would I need to head off soon? Sorry, I'm geographically challenged xD

don't feel bad about it. he hasn't been using real directions for true southerners. you know, walk along tha' highway til' you get to the big field, then turn left and walk along the fence line til' y'all get to the next highway, then turn right and head t'wards them tall buildins til' you come across the baptist church. at tha' church take the left at tha' big elm tree and walk until you come tha' river.

You are headed to almost the same place. Luke and Lash are going to Daltonville and you are going to Eastland Brewery which is just outside Daltonville to the East.

The trail you are on goes to both places (it will reach Eastland first).

Sorry for my absence, my father-in-law died earlier this week (COVID... :(). I'll try to get a post in this weekend.

Also be aware that any post based on information from another thread (that your character cannot possibly know about) will be edited into something that Nuke Daddy thinks is hilarious.

I've really enjoyed reading your thread, now that it's been made public.
Just some notes from a catchup read:
- Masterful story-telling ND, I really love the world you have created.
- Luke I admire the amount of confidence you have. You have to be one of the most confident RPers I've (yet to) encounter.
- Eleanor, I love how believable your character is, your words paint a really clear image and your char is a perfect pairing for the macho-twins.
- Lash, quite an enigmatic character. Good at giving not much away but I'm really drawn in by the mystery.
Anyway, good read!
I'm really enjoying my solo thread (despite the current predicament!) But I look forward to eventually joining all of you.
