Re: OOOCT:

You can't really work under Keep Watch. It only specifies fighting as vigorous activity, but trying to accomplish any real work -- mental or physical -- can also be strenuous enough to interrupt the spell. You can keep watch, read, have conversations, and do light duty chores (cooking, tending equipment, etc.).

In reply to Voice of the Void (msg # 37):

I wanted to double check.  Mostly because the spell description is a bit vague and because opinions are divided over at the Paizo forums (as to what it covers).

Edit: And I figured better to ask now, as I'm planning on using it whenever we're not spending the night in a town or other safe zone.

Thanks much.

Re: OOOCT:

Hope everyone had a happy holiday, and will soon have a happy new year! I'm planning on getting the first post up Friday the 1st. Eris is the only one who hasn't submitted a final sheet, and I don't have a sheet for Rabbit's animal companion yet. On that note, Rabit, would you like me to open a second character up for you for your wolf? And if so, what name would you like? Otherwise I've received and looked over everyone's sheet and everything looks fine.

P.S., you do not want to get hit by Chayamaya. Her vital strike numbers scare me. :P

Re: OOOCT:

Excited to start, and happy new year everyone!

I was just looking over my sheet and realized I never put in my bloodrager class abilities. Just put those in.
I also realized there's a rule ambiguity that I should get clarified in advance of game-play. My wildshape grants me a poison, but it's unclear what the DC should be. The poison DC is 10+1/2 HD + con modifier. If it's based on the spell, it would be 10 + spell level + casting modifier, but what is the spell level and casting modifier of wild shape? Neither are super clear. Could I get a ruling on that?

Yeah, mythic vital strike is quite nasty. Jak's strategy is going natural attacks and pounce which is also pretty nasty, but each attack is definitely lighter.

Re: OOOCT:

Wildshape is treated as the spell, and the polymorph subschool specifies any DC's of abilities the new form grants use the spell save DC. Since your Fey Form 3 is a 6th level spell, use the DC for your 6th level Druid spells. :)

In reply to Jak Longstepper (msg # 40):

Sienna ended up with Faith's Reach, so that she doesn't need to be in your square to heal you; I anticipate that she'll spend most combats out of melee range.  She also ended dual pathing with both Wild Arcana and Inspired Spell, so she's capable of being quite diverse.  At least as long as she has mythic points, anyways.

Please. Let's go with Wolf for the name, Rabbit is a minimalist that way.

Sounds good, thanks!

Sienna: Jak has solid offense, and a ton of HP (especially when wildshaped and raging), but pretty weak AC for this level, so I'll probably need plenty of that healing!

Re: OOOCT:

Wolf's sheet should be finished, barring any errors. I did retrain two feats, I can pay for it if you want - I left a fair bit of gold over for things like this. Basically what I needed was just to take two feats that aren't on the animal companion base list before I got intelligence up to 3 and unlocked other feats. They're both pretty straightforward things, just more skill ranks and better maneuvers while flanking.

Basically, Wolf is really phenomenal at biting people and pulling their legs out from under them. He's pretty scary in that niche.

I really should ask for clarification as to whether we're an already existing adventurer group; because if no then we seem to be traveling together.

So...asking.

Hmm wondering who makes the best party face and realizing only half of the characters who've posted so far have an actual face. I don't feel like out running her and then speaking inside her head is our best option here...

Re: OOOCT:

I have an above average charisma and pretty solid wild empathy check vs animals and fey, but I did not particularly invest in charisma based skills so I wouldn't make a great party face.

A similar thought had occurred, but I already know that it's not going to be Sienna.   Sometimes getting people to take you seriously when you're only a foot tall can be a challenge.

Azregh has a penalty on Charisma, but I did invest in sense motive and diplomacy. He's not great at it, mind, but it's enough to semi-reliably gather information from locals and maybe defuse situations should the need arise. Not every problem can be solved with violence after all.

Re: OOOCT:

You have a slime girl who likes pretty dresses who's got a solid chance of outright killing a young adult white dragon in a single punch who never "speaks". (The trick is doing 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats and running 10km every day.) She's bad at being intimidating but if yo want doors open being able to punch holes through vault doors and open them from the inside is a solid option.

So...I vote Azregh should serve as the party mediator/diplomat.

Sorry guys, I think I have to put gaming on the back burner for a couple of weeks. I have a ton of paperwork to fill out before mid Feb. Normally this time of year is just making appointments for these things, but everything's by mail this year.
