Fantasy Life is an open world game where players can play any character within the Pathfinder 2e guidelines. Characters will be level 1 and earn experience to level up. Experience can be gained in a wide variety of ways and will be awarded by the GM.

The world will be built by the players and GM, but as of the starting point much of the world is undiscovered and little is known. Every player will be allowed to make known facts about the world and magic users will be allowed to make up their own gods or goddesses to explain where their magic comes from. The same will be allowed for player ancestries.

Players will be allowed to adventure with other characters of their choosing, or simply make a living in the city. The game will be an even split between action, exploration, and social interaction.


A main theme of this game is immersion, so players should try to create unique characters and be willing to keep track of gear and equipment, currency, and be willing to interact with the world around them. If you're looking for a basic hack and slash game this game is not for you.
