The Hamlet
As amusing as it would be to watch Jarnbrautarlest fail, vindicate the fictitious slander against him, and watch him charge around impotently like my heir, I think I'm going to do Dia a favor.
First, let's just assume the prior session ended with Dia not getting that skull. His familiar, however, has a grand time watching undead panic from the power granted by his master, and is now convinced his job is fantastic. Dia's shift ends with disappointment.
Second, Dia wakes up from the commotion of Jarn waking up and then smashing the skeleton, who only has time to say "Please don't." Olivia, if she cares, knows about Dia's desire to get a skull, although it is up to Dia if she knows he wants one to use as a means of getting his Focus back.
Jarn, in your case, your melee attack isn't a lowly +2. It is a whopping +10, and I believe this applies to touch attacks as well. It would amuse me now to watch two of you flounder, but I need your strength to approach your reality rather than your perception. I have an ancestral home to reclaim.
