Argus is almost complete unknown. Communicating only via text message and the concessional voice-scrambled phone call, he is nonetheless suspected of being an old school Netrunner of the Rache Bartmoss cut. The only other thing known about him is he has an altruistic streak following his own ill-defined moral code. This led him to hire Chloe's detail to protect her, and he also negotiated the rescission of the bounty.
