This is a place for discussing out of character anything related to the game.

We will begin in Night City, January 15, 2045.  In my Night City the rebuilding has progressed a bit farther than in the book; some city services are running a little better (NCPD is back, city hall, courts, fire dept, etc.) and international trade is picking up thanks to Nomad conglomerates providing transport (by ground, air and sea.)  Factories are beginning to crank out consumer goods again, and though there are stores about, the Night Markets are now a way of life and people like it, so they persist.

Otherwise, things are as in the book.  Ask me if in doubt.

I think I may have four requests already and at least one more interested person.  I will start group 1, if more requests come in I'll look them over and consider a group 2.

For both groups, I'm compiling based on your lifepath a list of NPCs from your lives.  If you want to work out the details of each person please proceed and let me know.  That means things like appearance, name, role, motivations, personality, etc., essentially some of the basic stuff from the lifepath.

I alos have a stable of NPCs in a variety of roles, if you want someone to fill in a spot (a contact, friend, lover, etc.) let me know and I can provide.

I'm going to bed soon, I may be up and read for bit, but will shut off the computer.  I will be offline much of tomorrow and Thursday, unlike today, will check in the evening after work.

I have a request from Group 2 to see Group 1's game thread.  There is a possibility of the groups intersecting, it depends on the decisions you make, though for this first scenario you are not direct rivals even though the set-ups are similar.  I'm cautiously willing to trust that ll of you are mature enough to separate player knowledge from character knowledge, and if anything, to make suggestions that will enhance the fun for all.

Any objections to seeing what you are each up to?

I don't have any objections per se, but I also have no interest in seeing the other group's threads, and the new post notifications for threads I'm not involved in might be confusing.
