I am finishing up a new mission.  The hook can come through an Exec or a Fixer, groups 3 and 4 finished up on January 19, 2045.  Planning to pick up again either Sunday or Monday, January 29 or 30.  That means you have about 10 days of downtime.  You can run a week's worth of hustle time if you like and techs and medtechs have time to fabricate.  Let me know in the group OOC threads or via PM what you want to do and if you are going to hustle include a 1d6 roll.

Love the new scream sheet. I wonder which of my fellow runners was responsible for each part...

Guess what? It has been about 3 weeks, give or take a day or two, since I have quit smoking. I am now pretty much straight edge. I drink very very lightly, quit smoking, and haven't touched drugs of an illegal nature in quite some time. I still drink lots of caffeine though. I live on coffee. It is my blood type.

Dude!  Three weeks on the smoking is an accomplishment!  I think if you can make it past the first two, you're probably over the first big hurdle.  Mind you, laying off the booze helps.  It's hard to keep off smokes when you're arm wrestling a twelve pack.

Hmm. It says there's a new Cyberpunk Red dice roller option but...I'm not sure what the difference would be unless it automatically rerolls the max? It weirdly asks how many D10s to roll...

I also just realized in addition to no longer being able to see when players have logged in last (only when they last posted) you can no longer what groups players are in. That's...annoying. I'm in several games were there is a huge cast list and being able to differentiate who's in what groups was helpful.

All in the name of player anonymity!  I can see how both data points were removed as apparently some negative cross-game meta-gaming correlating was being done. :(  A few bad apples upsetting the apple cart (how's that for a mixed metaphor ;)).

Oh, and congrats. @Dutch.  Keep fighting the Good Fight™!  It is totally a day by day slog; kicking addiction is hard.

For the GM if you hover the mouse over a player in the cast list it drops down and shows you the groups; it also shows a "last visited" column.  I believe you can see that for me as GM.

The best I can do is to keep at it! :D



@Ref, so Chloe a midget? A thick midget on top of that? 140cm is 55inches, which is 4'7" and anything under 4'10" is considered to legally have dwarfism. 50kg is 110lbs. 110lbs is actually quite pudgy for somebody not even 5' tall. In 'murica, the average height for a short female is 5'2" and a curvy figure that wouldn't be considered thick, or fat, but lean and athletic would still come in at about 110-120lbs.

@Nightingale: Now this makes me question your character's proportions because you told me that Chloe would probably have something to fit you, and that Ref had said Gale and Dutch are of too drastic differences of physique to share attire. Dutch is 5'8" and 141lbs. She's tall and lean.

Now I am confused. :(

No that is definitely a typo.  She is closer to 160.  Her Body Type is a 4, so quite small in general, but not a dwarf.  I’ll see about correcting that.

What does body type 4 mean? When you say 160, you mean 160cm tall I assume?

Body Type is pretty abstract in CP.  It is strength, health, size, and to a certain extent endurance all rolled together.  The higher the value, the more of all or some of those you have.  However, since carrying and lifting and hit points are based on it, in terms of game rule effects it is mostly about strength and health.  It is very valid to use it as a rough size comparison.  For example, it is very unlikely that Nightingale would fit into any of Chloe's clothes; she is simply larger.

So yes, Chloe is about 160 cm tall.

Okay. So then what is Dutch's body type? Cuz I just picked her height and weight. Anyway. What is Dutch's body type according to the CPR stat blocks?

It's on her character record, Body 6.  That is just over average, which is 5.

Right right, but what does that mean as far as game terms and describing physique?

Purposefully vague, and up to GM interpretation.  If someone describes their character looking like The Rock and they have a 7 Body, I'm going to object.  I will also object to someone saying their character is petite with an 8 Body.  In the context of this specific game I give more leeway than I might normally because we used the street rat method for stat determination, so you didn't have a lot of choice.  5'8" and about 140 is reasonable within a 6 Body context, you're good to go.  If you meet a woman who is taller and/or heavier, expect that she will have a higher Body.

As I said earlier, the game effects of the stats are more important, this stuff about size is just a handy short hand that came up because people were talking about sharing clothes.  The boostergang mook has like a 4 Body, not because they are small, but because they are not very healthy considering the drugs.

But now I wanna have a character ripped and looking like Captain Prison Rape, jacked like the Rock...

And be 5'6" and 150lbs.

And use the screen name "Sir Bass A Lot" because people think he's a Catfish when they see him for real. He really is all jacked and ripped. He's just... Small. So all of his photos people expect to see a Hulk.
