Dawn broke, and the sound of the outpost making ready surrounded Jiro and Kasumi.

Kasumi awoke with a groan. Her head was pounding and she felt sick to her stomach. She spent time trying to figure out what happened during and after the party.

"Ah, good morning!" said Jiro, cheerfully.  Then he saw how Kasumi looked and spoke in a lower tone.

"...Do you remember what I told you last night?"

Kasumi thought and thought.

"No," she said quietly.
