Wand Lore
All wizards use wands. These are magical items made from various compoennts, one always being magical in nature, and selected for a wizard to be their primary focus of magical energy. Very typically they are made from wood and cored with a magical component but more unusual examples do exist too.

However, not all wands are created equal, during creation a wand crafter could attune the device to have a particular affinity or indeed simply use stronger or more effective components. Similarly, the skill of the wandsmith can result in ones of superior or inferior quality.
