IC: 001-C: Warehouse

The Warehouse is exactly where Gwen described it, a decrepit building in a decrepit neighborhood. Boarded up windows, stripped cars, and suspicious men selling suspicious wares from suspicious coats.

But it is not abandoned in this reality. As you approach, several very large men in gray off-the-rack business suits walk in the front door. Anyone who's been a part of New York's superhero scene might recognize some of them-- Steve Rogers, Matthew Murdock, Luke Cage.

This is a safehouse.

Sally descended from the New York skyline, gently setting the invisible group down in the alley across the street from the warehouse. She didn’t recognize any of the trio entering the warehouse. Do any of you recognize those men? How should we play this one, Sue? Danny?

In reply to Timebroker (msg # 1):

Danny's eyes widen as the trio of newcomers walk through the entrance into Gwen's warehouse. Despite himself, he feels the mask of stoicism he's worn for so long begin to slip a little. Captain America, Matt Murdock, and Luke Cage are all people he considered close friends at one point in his life. But that was years before he discovered K'un-Lun's treachery. Before the elders had cast him out. Before he'd turned his back on his friends to keep them from sharing the fate that lay in store for him. The mistakes Danny made had cost the Iron Fist his home, his friends... and eventually, his life. But now he had a second chance to make things right-- for everyone. And of these three people, only one of them was his best friend. He barely takes note of Polaris' question.

"Luke..." he starts forward, "Is that really-?"

No. Wait This isn't the Luke he knows. He has to remember that.

"Er, I mean, it's good to see you."

"Of course it's me, Danny." He bumps fists, and looks you in the eye. Something's wrong. "It's good to see you, too, buddy. How long has it been?"

"Man, I wish my lawyer was as good as yours, so I didn't have to keep looking over my shoulder. Glad I don't have to wonder if you're on our side."

Re: IC: 001-C: Warehouse

Sue watched, likewise knowing none of them.   As Ironfist had begun to advance, she'd removed the invisibility from him, since he seemed bent on making contact.

To Sally and Nomad she whispered - "Let's wait, see what happens. That hunky brother seems to be someone he knows pretty well, back home."

Keeping the rest of us invisible.

I know Murdock's got senses out the Wazoo, so:

Unseen rolled 11,6,2,6,7 using d12,d10,d8,d8,2d6.  Invisibility dice pool.
Invisibility + Safety + Outta sight protectoress + Covert expert + Polaris
Total = 18; effect die = D10

Funnybone and Tigro found a nearby alley where they could stop without attracting unwanted attention, and Wade could make his reappearance. They walked the last block to where Iron Fist was.

"Hey."
