Looking forward to it!

Psychonaut?  Could you start a thread "terms our characters will use often"  I fear I might forget specific terms like "the Primer" while rping and it's a real hassle to reopen the PDF, wait for it to load up, find the right page, sign in if needed, magnify the text to a size I can actually read and then write the word I need.

Sure. I am opening up a "glossary" thread. Stick anything in it that you feel like.

I am looking over the last 2 sheets and we will start.

You may have an opening in mind already, but if not, can I suggest I meet the main party as they clear the  customs point at the tunnel gate? The journey to Bergamo will give us a chance to get to know each other and tell our character backgrounds.

If you want to push with the plot you could have a rp only history of the party post and work them simultaneously as long as we work to keep the posts canonical.

Could we all put our cult and culture in the top of our description?  It will help me keep track of the characters.   Thanks.

Of course.

Now I have to switch your names to your characters and we will start.

The plot will appear gradually.

Re: Intro Post

I have been told that if I do not spend the evening with Mrs. Archon, I will be murdered.

So, I will try to start with the intro (which is always a big post) later today; if I can;t it'll be in the morning.

Re: Intro Post

It you're eager to get some IC chat going before the official opening post you can always use PMs.

I've done this in past with little slice of life vignettes or historical flashbacks that establish the relationships between 2 or more characters. A conversation in a tavern or on the road, that sort of thing. Mundane, but it actually starts to build character friendships, establishes motivations and gets the creative juice flowing without mixing it up with the canon of the main plot.

Re: Intro Post

Guys, I'm sorry for the vanishing act. I fell into a depression and basically had no motivation to do anything.

If you will forgive me, give me a couple of days to pull my head out of my ass please.

Interest Check

Hey team, it’s been two weeks since our leader took his leave of absence. We all wish him well, I know.

It’s possible Archon will return but, in the meantime, would there be any interest in me GMing a mini-session (2-3 days in game time) that brings the team together as a group, in advance of the events of In Thy Blood?

I imagine a session that expands on where we left off in the PMs, covering the journey from the Helvetic tunnel, to Bergamo and onward, up until the moment the group arrives at Lucatore where In Thy Blood begins. Some chit-chat on the road to get to know each other, a couple days in Bergamo for shopping, entertainment and/or intrigue, then the walk to Lucatore. Some chance for social and bargaining rolls and maybe a small combat encounter at some point, but the main focus is to establish histories and help the group gel. The real action starts when we get to Lucatore.

This in no way is meant to step on Archon’s toes or supersede his game. Just to get the ball rolling and take a bit of work off his shoulders since it’s always easier to run a game with a party/players that are already working well together.

Since it’s just a prelude, we can stop it at anytime if Archon returns and fast forward to Lucatore; “and the evening ended well and the group traveled onward.” GM handwaving and done. Curtains up on the main event.

Let me know your thoughts.

Interest Check

Since we don't know exactly what the world is like, I'd prefer waiting on the GM.  He likely has ideas in mind about the ways and means of his world that might not fit exactly with our individual interpretations of the world.

Interest Check

I was and am still looking forward to actually playing Degenesis, but while I have infinite patience to wait, I also see a very realistic hint that perhaps the GM has given up on it, and I won't blame them for anything. I'd wait for a while longer, but if nothing else happens, I'd be willing to adopt the group for a new game, and run the In Thy Blood adventure. I've already read In Thy Blood and The Killing Game, currently working on Black Atlantic (in my own pace that no one is waiting for me on), and I would say I am intimate with the world. So there's an offer. But like I mentioned, I'd rather wait a while longer; I understand what they're going through and I want to give them an honest chance.

It's been thirty days with no updates from xenomorph, and thirty days is how long I give a GM before I decide they've moved on.

I'd be willing to migrate if you open new game.
